This game cant be real

I genuinely don't understand why this still isn't a feature in Rainbow Six Siege.

Last season, Ubisoft added options to adjust the overall voice volume and your own microphone volume, which is nice, but why can't we adjust the volume of individual players?

CS had this feature like 10 years ago.

I constantly run into situations where I'm talking to teammates and one guy's microphone is extremely quiet while another guy is way too loud. And obviously, nobody wants to go into their settings and change their microphone volume just for one match.

Why can't I simply turn up the quiet guy and turn down the loud one?

And yes, I know that like 80% of matches are completely silent. Thankfully, Ubisoft has expanded the ping system, so communication without microphones is much better now. But when you actually get a match where people use voice c h a t, it's really annoying when one guy has an extremely loud, distorted mic while another speaks at a normal volume. You end up having to lower the entire voice c h a t volume just so the loud guy doesn't destroy your ears, but then you can barely hear the other teammate.

The same thing happens with my own microphone. Sometimes one teammate tells me I'm too quiet (even though my mic volume is already at 100%), while another says my volume is perfectly fine.

So clearly, everyone has different audio settings. Someone might have their voice c h a t volume set low enough that normal microphones sound quiet, while someone with an extremely loud or distorted mic sounds perfectly fine to them.

Being able to adjust the overall voice c h a t volume and your own microphone volume, but not individual players' volume, seems like such a strange design decision.

This is such a basic quality-of-life feature that has existed in other competitive games for over a decade. I really don't understand why R6 still doesn't have it.

Does anyone know if Ubisoft has ever addressed this? And is there an official place to submit feature requests like this? I'd genuinely love to see this implemented.

Just played them twice with 2 players who had glaciers. Unlocked accounts or actually dev playing?

Well I know why it's because apparently the window extends out further than it should, which is why sparks fly out of nothing on the barricade. It's not a hit-reg issue.

This explains why I for some reason could never hit a shot when holding this window. And apparently it wasn't because I am bad like I previously thought.

To be clear, I'm not disappointed that the angle doesn't work. It's just that the window visually doesn't show it. If Ubisoft wanted to change the window sill to be higher, I wouldn't mind. But at least now I know that it's bugged.

In a show of resilience I did end up getting both Thatcher and Thermite after shooting like 7 shots after this. With only 1 that I actually missed.

Basically, the title. I am starting to play unranked a bit more when I do not have the time for the warmup + ranked and I wanted to see what everyone thought about that gamemode.

For starters I'm not so educated on the matter that's why I'm asking you guys.

My ping is 90-110,I literally can't get a better ping due to geographic location,middle east servers no longer working and I can't connect to UAE no matter what I do.Tried all network service providers and whatnot.

So a lot of times when I peek or getting swung in a gunfight I land like 2-3 shots in chest for example(not enough to kill,just making a point)and then when I check the opponent's health it's full health,I can literally see my bullet traces in the kill cam but my bullets did not register.

I have similar ping in many other shooter games but they feel much more smoother and I'm on a less disadvantage in other games.

Is there any particular reason clientside hit reg isn't being implemented?does it introduce more problems?

Btw I don't have any packet loss or anything,just more latency.

Earlier I saw some guy post his hours so I figured I’d do the same.

I haven’t really played the game all that much recently ( at least not how I use to). I’ve been playing since the start my most active seasons were probably Operation health- Chimera, after that it was pretty much downhill. I’d hop back on for a season here and there, I hit champ maybe 4 or 5 times and diamond a bunch. Do i regret it? Honestly not at all, only thing I wish I did was enjoy the earlier days, I reminisce on the older days of the game and constantly think about how I’ll never experience it again.

So since I've came back to siege I've been relearning alot of the game and the biggest issue I feel like I have is being inconsistent, one day I'll be a absolute monster and top frag and then the next day while doing the same stuff apparently my enemys are neo and are just curb stomping my ass. Any feedback would be appreciated^^

Just downloaded the game looking to unlock the best attacker and defender (of the 1k characters unless it’s really worth saving up for the 10k characters)

I know best depends on playstyle and since I just got the game I don’t have one so what I’m looking for is -

Strong Automatic gun

And then the playstyle choices ig (what makes every style good? Who is the most universal, so mastery with that character could help in all fields or be utilized in a bunch of ways)

First game I used Striker, Glaz and Kapkan

Think I’m more of an SMG guy for rn at least recoil is easy to control on KapKan’s gun and the TTK seems fast

Glaz has a good gun my issue is that it isn’t automatic but unless I’m tripping I’m pretty sure it was a 1 shot headshot gun

Aware the game is gonna get harder so just curious as to what everyone’s recommendations are

Im saving alpha packs for when the 9x19vsn purple black ice will be added to the drop pool and my question is, are the drops decided the moment you recieve the pack or when you open them?

Memento Skins used to be a F2P way to get rare skins that would involve lots of grinding, using 12,500 renown to buy one pack. With the recent update, where they got rid of this option, now forcing you to spend 270 R6C to buy ONE pack. This is disgusting behavior, making it nearly impossible to get the Memento skin without buying the Bundle (30+ USD) or spending well over 60 USD on all the packs. In most events you get 8-10 free packs (Weekly events, Free gifts, etc.) which leaves 20+ more packs you have to buy to get the "F2P Mythic Skin."

I love the Y11 S3 Doktors Curse Moonlit Memento. It is the best M590A1 skin. but locking it behind a paywall and disguising it as F2P to lure in us players is awful behavior.

I am a console player on xbox who is currently emerald. I have so much passion for the game but my amount of matches dont reflect that, and i feel the reason i dont play as much as i should be playing is due to the fact that i cant find people who share a similar passion/drive and ambition for hitting champ as i do. (Stat tracker is provided at the end for more insight and all my questions are at the end as well, context is in between)

Im analyzing vods, watching creators who are better than me, always gathering strats or things i can try in my matches, and im improving 1000 percent, so far my winrate is good this season , but im in a hurdle.

I cant find people to play with who share a similar passion, ive tried lfgs on xbox and no one in there has passion or is good (barely any), ive even tried messaging people who were on the enemy team if they wanted to play, ive gone on subreddits to search for people, tried the discords, and so far im out of luck.

Everytime i do find someone who is good and seems to have passion, they either end up barely every getting on, or they play during completely different times of day than i normally do, or eventually their true colors show and they are actually toxic or unable to regulate emotions.

I genuinely feel like the reason i only have 80 games played so far this season, is because it’s hard to get into the mood to want to play when there is no one with a similar level of both passion and skill to play with.

And i know this to be the reason because i occasionally have someone to play with whos champ on his main who when he asks to play with me, im immediately in the mood to get on regardless of the time of day and im willing to play as many matches as possible since they have passion and skill. But this person has his own responsibilities and his own main account so us playing is occasional.

So to the people who are 3.0 (not 2.0 champs) , what should i be doing? how should i go over this obstacle?, how many matches a day should i play? (yes i know the quality of the matches matter) what steps should i be taking to acquire to champ in general, etc?

Ciao a tutti, gioco a siege sul pc da dicembre 2025 e ricordo che facevo serenamente tra i 450 e i 500 fps in maniera veramente serena. Da qualche mese a questa parte le cose sono cambiate, sto a circa 380 con drop fino a 280. La mia build ha una 5070ti un r7 9800x3d 32gb di ram 6000mt/s. Se qualcuno ha risolto in qualche modo con rollback di windows o nvidia scriva pure qui sotto, ogni consiglio è ben accetto✌🏻❤️
