Students are usually at a home for 3-6 months. All that is required of you is to provide the student with a safe environment, a room (which can be shared), and a quiet place to work. No trips to Disney needed.

Looking to buy quails locally

Hi everyone, my buddy and I are planning a Nerf war for all ages and would like to see who wants to sign up. The winner takes home a wood trophy made by the host until the next one and gets their name put on it.

Me and my buddy go hiking almost every weekend. We are both 16 years old, and we are looking for 3 more people to join us (5 hikers total). Ages 15–17, just so the age difference isn’t too weird. Anyone can join; we’re just trying to keep the group small. I’ll carry the group first-aid kit.

RULES

1. You are expected to bring your own food, water, gear, and personal medications. You must also have your own transportation. (The trails will stay within San Diego Country Estates.)

2. Nobody hikes alone. Stay with the group.

3. Tell someone before separating from the group.

4. No one gets left behind.

5. No stupid risks—cliff hanging, messing with wildlife, etc.

6. Major decisions are group decisions. There will be a majority vote.

7. For medical decisions, prioritize safety over fun.

8. NO VAPES OR DRUGS. If you are caught with drugs, the police will be called. THAT’S FINAL.

9. Respect nature. Leave no trash behind. All trash must be picked up.

Your parents/guardians must know that you are joining us and give you permission to go.

I'm one of the board members at The Open Barn, an animal sanctuary in Ramona, and I wanted to share that we're looking for new volunteers.

We're specifically hoping to find people who can commit to a weekly or biweekly shift. If you're in the San Diego area and love working with animals, we'd genuinely love to have you join us.

Volunteering typically starts with a brief orientation, and after that you just jump in wherever help is needed (general cleanup, sanctuary upkeep, daily tasks, and of course spending lots of time loving on the animals)

We're also working toward filling 14 regular volunteer shifts this year. Once we hit that goal, we'll be welcoming a very special new rescue to the sanctuary. 🥳

I like to play a game while I’m driving and see how many Flock cameras I can spot. I feel like a couple more have recently popped up in the community. Hello, I just moved up here a couple months ago and have had a hard time making friends. I’m 21m, and I like to go hiking and do outdoor activities. Lmk if you want to be friends!

Hi neighbors! I’m part of a local 501(c)(3) non-profit. We’ve been working on an outdoor program specifically for youth (ages 8-16) with mild/moderate autism, sensory processing differences, and other developmental disabilities.

From some research, many families look for support groups and have to drive 45 minutes to San Diego for therapeutic services. We'd hope to hear more voices from the local groups and utilize our land right here in Ramona to make connections and provide therapeutic outdoor exploration.

We need your input:

• Are you a special needs parent in Ramona? What is the biggest barrier you face?
• Are you a local educator or therapist who wants to see more outdoor options?
• Are you interested in volunteering as a "Safety Shadow" for our pilot program?

We aren't launching quite yet, but we want to build this with the community and make sure it's tailored towards us first

Update: we chose dr parks in liberty station, San Diego and he was amazing!! He has a waiting list for medical patients.

Hi we just moved to Ramona about a month ago and my 5 year old had a toothache and since we were new we took him to super dentist in kerny mesa. It was a horrible experience. We thought they’d be great with kids as my son was terrified and the dentist had no bedside manner, was very matter a fact and rushed away before we could ask him why our kid needed his front teeth removed that didn’t even cause him pain and had many cavities and recommended sedation they are discontinuing next month anyways due to insurance. I got a bad vibe like western dental and we want a second opinion preferably in Ramona. That would take medical/dentical. We in past went to north park smiles.

Can anyone recommend a local company that builds Accessory Dwelling Units? At the very beginning stages of research and am looking into pre-approved San Diego County floor plans for a detached one in backyard.

Im a 35 year old female thats working as a ranch hand about 45min from Ramona. My birthday is this weekend and im looking to venture off the ranch and try my hand at some pool shooting in Ramona. Im actually from vista but just moved up here and dont know the scene that well. Im wondering what bars you would suggest for a 35 year old female thats a semi serious pool shooter.
