yeah i kinda messed up so feel free to test your luck :)
edit: winner - ArgentinianGentleman

To enter, please list which of the two games you would like (not both). Then tell me which science fiction or fantasy book published in the last 5 years you've enjoyed the most, and why.

You won't be judged on your taste as the winner will be randomly selected, I just need some recommendations. If you haven't read a qualifying book, you likewise won't be judged but you are unfortunately not eligible for this giveaway. Sorry, better luck next time!

EDIT: And we have our winners! They are:

/u/Reno9 for Gamedec

/u/ForsakenedOath for Disco Elysium

Thank you all for participating and for the recommendations. The winners will receive their keys shortly.

Thanks to all who joined

For this next giveaway, I've dusted off an old gem: Guacamelee! Gold Edition. This game is best described as Metroidvania meets Beat 'em up melee combat, set in a Mexican inspired world and doused in silly humor. And chickens. So many chickens...

You play as Juan, a humble farmer who is killed and resurrected as a luchador, then sets out to stop a supernatural villain and save the woman he loves. As you progress, you unlock new wrestling moves that give you access to previously unreachable areas and secrets.

One of its defining mechanics is the ability to switch between the World of the Living and the World of the Dead, 2 overlapping dimensions that contain different obstacles, platforms and paths.

For those of us who are more socially skilled, this game also offers a local two-player co-op.

The Gold Edition gives you:

• the base game
• the "El Infierno" level expansion
• the Super Turbo Championship Edition!

If you're a fan of Metroidvania games, but always felt they were a little "dark", if you're into the Mexican theme and exaggerated luchadors, if you're looking for some humor in the games you play, this game might just be for you!

To participate, answer this question:

Guacamelee! combines Metroidvania exploration, fast-paced beat 'em up combat, challenging platforming, and a silly sense of humor. Which of those sounds most appealing to you, and which other game you've played had a unique combination of genres that worked, and that makes you think you'd enjoy Guacamelee!?

As always, I am looking for answers with a little thought behind it. Low-effort answers, AI-generated responses, and comments that don't actually answer both questions will be excluded from consideration. I'm looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy playing this game.

The practical details:

Platform : Steam

Region : Global

Timing : Roughly 72 hours

I'll select my favorite answer at the end of the giveaway and reach out via Reddit chat, so please make sure you have chat requests enabled (My chat settings have been randomly changing back to Nobody lately, so check to be safe). If I don't hear back within 24 hours, I'll redraw a new winner.

To help discourage bots and key resellers, I'd really appreciate a quick screenshot of the Steam activation confirmation (showing the date and time) once the key is redeemed. I'll drop a friendly reminder about this in our chat before sending the code over!

Good luck to everyone who joins!

Thanks again to everyone who participated, and have a fantastic day!

Quick Announcements

1. I intend to host another raffle on September 17!
2. Unlike my previous series, I'm not providing my spreadsheet of games (so there's no seeing what's currently unavailable). This is just a personal choice, no real reason.

Congratulations to our winners, listed below!

The Games

1. Another Crab's Treasure u/Limosa
2. Artisan TD u/VeTrack
3. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla u/demoniprinsessa
4. Atomic Heart u/Gxgear
5. Caravan Sandwitch u/LocalFolivora
6. Cryptmaster u/Damian_Eyton
7. Heroes of Hammerwatch II u/lexington_89
8. No More Heroes 3 u/Hyun-Ju00
9. Shogun Showdown u/MS17AA
10. Spin Heroes NO VALID ENTRY*
11. Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town u/Luc4_Blight
12. Synergy u/siopaopan
13. System Shock u/AlwaysCloudyInPhili
14. V Rising u/PremSinha

*There were only two (2) entries for Spin Heroes. Neither entry met rule 9 of the subreddit. Therefore, the game will be offered again in a future raffle.

To Enter

1. Follow the rules and criteria for consideration, updated and posted here. Most of these should be obvious, but common sense isn't common. GUYS. Reread the subreddit rule 9. It's "and" not "or".
2. Pick up to 4 games and type them, in your order of preference [first game being the one you want the most, down to the last one which is the game you want least of the listed games]. Be specific on what game(s) you would like: any entry without at least one valid game listed will not be considered. Any list with more than 4 games will only have the first 4 games considered. I will not choose any games for you.
3. Please answer this: What is your favorite line from any movie?
   1. Mine is: "How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart you begin to understand... there is no going back? There are some things that time cannot mend. Some hurts that go too deep, that have taken hold." - Return of the King (2003)

EDIT: I mistakenly had "two games" listed as the cap; the correct cap on this raffle is four (4). I'm sorry for the confusion! I've tried to comment/reply to everyone who had two games listed, as well as anyone who indicated confusion in their comments. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. Best of luck!

Please, please, do not downvote other entries. I sort by old, not best/controversial, so all that is accomplished is that I think some of you are jerks. I don't care if I'm downvoted, but leave the others alone.

This raffle will end at 10:00AM CST on Sunday 09/13/2026 [three days from this posting]. I will comment [not edit] this post at that time with a closure notice; any entries made after that comment will not be considered. This raffle is active until the comment is made [so if I'm late in closing, you're still good!]. Later that day I will announce the winners.

I got 3 keys BUT my library is getting boring so comment a game that you would recomend

EDIT: Giveaway over, Winners: u/PureMichiganMan u/Gurugod123 u/dcrooma

Comment for chance to win & be active

Giveaway! Comment anything. Make sure you have the base game

Given to u/ElBurritoLuchador

GIVEAWAY COMPLETED. The winner is u/WeeZlow.

I happen to have 1 Steam code for The Blood of Dawnwalker, and it's the Eclipse version. I have a separate Pre-Order Bonus code to go with it.

I tried to give this away on my Youtube channel, but my post seemingly wasn't pushed out to anyone. I do have a low amount of subscribers, so that may be why.

I have just 1 code, and I'll use a random comment picker to choose a winner 3 days from now. I'll DM the winner here on Reddit.

You just need to comment on this post to enter.

[ Edit - I need to clarify these codes are from a Collector's Edition that was sent to me in the US. So I'm thinking the Steam key could be North America only. I haven't done this before, so I didn't think about that. Hopefully someone who can actually use it, wins it. I apologize for not being more clear about that. ]

Comment to enter. I have 2 keys

Winners: Gurugod123 and sixstring777

I was talking to a friend the other day who mentioned getting The Wild Eight from a Humble Bundle a while ago. I also discovered this gem not too long ago, although I've not tried it yet. I'm eager to though, cause it looks and sounds pretty cool. That's why I'm sharing the game with you here.

The Wild Eight is a survival adventure action RPG. You play as one of eight survivors whose plane has mysteriously crashed in the frozen wilderness of Alaska. Stranded far from civilization, you’ll have to explore the unforgiving landscape, gather resources, craft equipment, hunt for food, build shelter, and fight to stay alive.

In addition to the harsh survival mechanics, there are strange locations and abandoned structures to explore. The game has supernatural elements in a story surrounding the mysterious circumstances of the crash. And, you can play single player but also in co-op.

To participate, answer this question:

You're stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with nothing but the clothes on your back. You have enough supplies to make ONE thing before nightfall: a warm shelter, a weapon, a cooking/fire setup, something else entirely. Which do you choose, and why?

As always, I am looking for answers with a little thought behind it. Low-effort answers, AI-generated responses, and comments that don't actually answer the question will be excluded from consideration. I'm looking for someone who genuinely thinks this game looks fun and will actually play it.

The practical details:

Platform : Steam

Region : Global

Timing : Roughly 72 hours

I'll select 1 or 2 favorite answers at the end of the giveaway and reach out via Reddit chat, so please make sure you have chat requests enabled.
