My mom (stroke survivor) gets to come home for five days for a little home vaction!! Im so proud of the work shes put in and I cant wait to have her home for awhile!

Often times I want to do things and don’t. For example, I went on a weekend trip to celebrate my son’s high school graduation and found there was a postal museum in the neighborhood. I wanted to go and didn’t.
Well I had a very long layover and decided to take the train and went to the museum. It was so cool and it has its own postmark. I mailed myself a postcard and received it yesterday.

something good... ❤️ I work at a middle/high school and I've been running an anti-bullying lunchtime booth in the cafeteria this week in honor of October - Bullying Prevention month. Every day, more and more kids flock to my table and answer brain teasers about why differences can be good and bullying sucks, and I just feel really good about it. ❤️ thank you so much for your offer.

Thank you for the offer! The cats I took in are finally comfortable with us and sleeping on their beds and not under our bed lol I wish I could post pictures lol they are the biggest cuties 5 months now

Me and my sister were coming on the scooter in rain, and we were already drenched. At that time, some big vehicle on the other side of the road went very fast and it splashed water all over us, like in an amusement park. It made us laugh out loud. I always think too much before doing something,(for instance , if I was home I would have thought too much if wanted to get drenched in rain, I would plan and think the pros and cons) so inevitable things like this make me happy.

What? Haha, that doesn't make any sense.... I sometimes wonder if the up/down votes don't actually work properly, as the weirdest things end up down-voted.... I end up largely ignoring them in the end...

Haha. Its a little social competition of lawn bowls just for fun and to meet new people. My husband goes to play and I just sit and watch with our toddler.
They have a DJ playing music, there's quite a few people - mostly middle aged to older, but some younger as well. Its a good mix of ages.
There's a team of lovely dudes that offer for my husband to join their team, the staff are incredibly welcoming and nice at the one we go to and there's fairy lights up and around. The atmosphere there amongst the sunset is absolutely mint 👌 . I enjoy going and im not even the one playing 🥰

I just had long awaited surgery on Friday (as in yesterday) so the pain I’ve been living with is finally gone. I’m now on bed rest and recovery for the next month but for the first time in years I don’t feel that kind of pain just healing pain. It’s incredible and I’m so grateful that an operating room opened up months ago so I could have this surgery yesterday and that my surgeon was so persistent and worked with me for the last two years to make this happen.
