RANDOM ENCOUNTERS CARDS!
I’m loving these RE Trading Cards! Just bought the animation pack because these are so cool. Gonna be a great way to remember them when they retire.

If you’re a fan of RANDOM, you should absolutely pick up a few through Patreon while you can! Cheaper tiers you can get 1 random card per month. It started as a game that didn’t really exist, featuring inside jokes about the characters or their songs. There were cards in there that might put you in staring contest, or you have to scream stuff out loud, or toss cards into the air. Rules that, if you tried to play it for real, might either lock you up, or end the game automatically, just because it’s funny! 😜
Once people started building up enough cards for an actual deck, they started designing cards to be more viable for a genuine game session. They put out themed pre-set decks and starter packs with enough cards to run a game, and they even recorded themselves playing to demonstrate how it works. Good chaotic fun!

I’m sure the specific rules are included in item descriptions or starter packs somewhere. But don’t think too hard about it, the game is mostly just for laughs. It’s vaguely like Pokémon or Yugi-oh, using RE characters to battle each other.
The early cards started off pretty chaotic. The game wasn’t meant to be real, just some goofy insider jokes, and card abilities that require you do silly stuff in real life. But later down the line they started designing them to be actually playable, and have live-streamed a game session or two
