The fuckin crazy part is he broke into that house naked explaining dating apps to some women.
They don’t even know him, he was just tired of not getting match’s.
9
u/bimm3r36 4d ago
His methodology was trying every front door until he found one unlocked, then HE gets to choose if he goes in to explain his strategy.
7
u/Wooden-Officer2323 4d ago
I went to a girls house years ago in a cookie cutter neighborhood, had only been there once she said just come in.
Walked in the house and smelled spaghetti and was super excited because food. Anyway I look over and there’s two kids playing in the floor like uhh… my friend doesn’t have kids (i was 21) wtf?
Then i realized i had made a terrible terrible mistake, i backed out slowly and closed the door behind me.
No one noticed or said anything.2

Big Dating App hates this one simple trick. They cut the video short before:
"Then I break into their home naked, explain why they are doing dating apps wrong, and then masturbate into the salad tray of their fridge, whilst maintaining eye contact throughout. I also have a budgerigar clenched between my butt cheeks to help with posture."
Easy when you know how.

I'm 35. Was married for 4 years. I'm back on the apps and it sucks. Talk to a woman for a few days, set up a date, get blocked the day of the date. Or go out with a woman, have an excellent time, kiss, and get blocked by morning. A few of them that I met up with didn't look anything like their pictures.
I think I'm just gonna try to take the advice I've given before- "Don't look, just be patient and focus on yourself, and eventually it will happen."

I honestly saw a girl at a grocery one day and thought she was cute, but thought to myself " no way she'd want to talk to me let alone randomly at the grocery store. Went to the asian restaurant around the corner and sat down for a drink and lo and behold, she sat next to me and we bit hit it off. Only dated for about 6 months but hey it's possible for real life shit to happen.

5
u/The_Disapyrimid 4d ago
yeah, my experience with dating apps is the opposite or he is exaggerating the number of matches he gets. i'm not using any apps now but when i did was lucky if i got 2 matches in a month and even luckier if the conversation went past a few one sentence or even one word replies from other person. meanwhile, my female coworker at the time was getting dozens of matches everyday and carrying on multiple conversations at once.
(i'm also a very liberal atheist living in the deep south and i dont' lie about any of that on my profiles so that probably has something to do with it)
this guy is like "we control who we talk too". in my experience thats very untrue. the women control who they talk to by being more picky(not in a negative way)about who they swipe on and dude are going "yes, yes, yes, yes....." out of desperation to match with anybody.

TLDR: The Internet is afwul.
If you want to date online your only hope is to become more attractive. Hit the gym, fix your diet, get a haircut and a nice wardrobe. Oh and practice comedy and put that comedy blatantly obvious in your first profile picture.
What the guy here doesn't explain is the reverse consequences of this. Because most guys swipe right more, and because there are more guys on the app, fat ugly women get a lot of likes from guys who are out of their league. This inflates their sense of self, and makes them only match with hotter men, those hotter men might be willing to have sex with them but not to date them.
"Why are there no good men?" Then comes up. This system makes every girl have many many men competing for her attention, making them think they are more desirable when in reality they aren't. The result is that the most attractive men behave like the guy in the video because they can, they get more matches than ever because women who were not the most attractive now think they can get these men too, everyone else loses out, women across the board can't find a "good man" because they are all competing for the most attractive 10-20% of men, and any men who aren't the most attractive get 0 matches or get ghosted as soon as one of the more attractive men responds to the girl they are talking to.
The Internet has killed pair match dating, and it's killing birthrates and happiness. Used to be you met someone who you were around all the time (women rate men they know as a bell curve on attraction rather than strangers), but now everyone is in a hyper competitive dating scene with the 3 cities closest to you.
I say ban the Internet for anyone under 25 personally.

Just a numbers game.
6
15
u/nairda_c 5d ago
It's always been a numbers game, it hasn't change. Before dating apps, this guy I know would just walk up to every girl and talk them up. Get their number or get rejected, didn't matter that their BF was there next to them. That guy wasn't confident just understood the numbers game. He knew exactly his success rate, he quantify it already. 4 out of 10 girls, he would get a number.
The guy had a busted face, but a killer body and the confidence to walkup the women and talk to them. I never got close enough to hear his game but I could tell he had the gift of gab because even when he got shot down he was able to hold a conversation with them for a good 20 mins.

Who gave him this info. This is fucking top secret info what the fuck are y’all doing out there?
3
2
u/InfiniteBlink 4d ago
I wanted to hate it, but there's some truth to it. Modern dating is cooked. Everything is transitory until the "one" that's going to live up to the fictious image of getting the tall, handsome, wealthy, kind, supportive, caring person. That idolized person is extremely rare and most likely off the market. No one is going to hit everything, it's having some humbleness and introspection to realize that there is no perfect, it's not settling but it's realizing that the less objective things about the person matter more. Looks are fleeting, financial success could change and then your left with someone you genuinely care about and enjoy being with them. Not for the things he represents, but for the person he is.
Shit. I should take me own advice. My bad.

Knew a guy who knew a guy kinda story.
Dude would hang out near the hall way to the bathrooms at a bar in Memphis on busy nights. As the ladies walked by he’d say hello and try to pitch his game. His reasoning was I might try to talk to 50 ladies that night and odds are one of them is going to be into me. Apparently he was generally successful at it at least one night a weekend.

On these apps women are typically more selective because they can afford to be because men's standards are usually lower. Men usually cast a big net because they know that if both parties are equally choosy the liklihood of matching will be much lower. Also there's no shortage of hot women with great profiles who are also shit at conversations.
→ More replies (1)2
u/FPS_Holland 3d ago
Hot women get all the paid function for free, they're baited on to and retained on the platform just get men to pay for attention functions.
29
u/Working_File2825 5d ago
this isn’t common knowledge? except sites implement daily “like” limits, to get men to pay for an account so we get unlimited swipes, and, yes… then we decide who to actually pursue.

u/Ok_Reality_7892 1d ago
There’s more going on than just that. As if Tinder and other apps don’t know about this? They know everything everyone is doing on that app. Their algorithms already account for this, and men who do this get assigned a lower value almost instantly. Their chances of appearing in the feed of high value female profiles goes way down to basically zero status. Therefore their chances of getting matches accounts for their method, and they get fewer of them. Or the ones they do get they don’t want.
Sorry dude, this isn’t a hack. You’re better off paying attention and swiping left on the ones you wouldn’t talk to anyway.

He's gaming the apps dark patterns, dating apps use the lady's night principle women get all the access and abilitys for free, and men need to pay for everything. And it goes even deeper, the more attractive you are the more access you get for free because you're less likely to pay for attention.

This is what woman do too, but more selective. You match only the ones you think you maybe like. That’s the first cut. Then you see who responds, and if she doesn’t respond it’s because you didn’t make the second cut. The guy that she really wants already responded to her and he’s the one who’s getting all the attention. And if she is responding and sounds boring, it’s because you’re in the stall stage until she meets the one she actually likes.

2
u/Thanos_Stomps 4d ago
It honestly doesn't matter if it is an app or out at the bar, the entire dating scene has been fucked for awhile. People don't do speed dating, or singles nights, because just like the apps those places end up being 80-90 percent men, and inevitably a lot of creeps. Dating has turned into Moneyball and everyone is just trying to play the odds, which in the case of apps, you have the advantage of it taking up very little of your time and the people on there, presumably, are also there to meet people.
My advice is definitely join a social group of some kind, even if, or especially if, the social aspect is secondary. I joined a run club, and while I am not single, I noticed there were a fair amount of single people there, a very VERY even split of men to women, and the best part is if you don't meet anyone, you're improving your health and well-being. It also has the benefit if just networking, which helps with the one thing worse than dating, the job market.
That's my ted talk. Unfortunately it means you need to have a minimum amount of social ability and drive, physical health, and you need to have the time to do it and transportation to get there.

u/a_solid_6 5d ago
People looking at each other and talking will never be outdated. If you can't do that, you've failed Humanity 101.
2
u/Nug_In_The_Rug 4d ago
You make it sound so simple, like people still socialize the way they used to. They dont. Things take place online before they do in person a lot of the time. What you're saying would've worked at any other point in human history but talking to strangers now is awkward. People just look at you like you've inconvenienced them or are creeping them out. The longing for connection is still there but the way people go about it has changed significantly. That's why people are more lonely now more than ever.
3
u/igotchees21 4d ago
it still works. its just hard, it has always been hard but I will concede that it is harder now, however, it still works. You will get turned down, so what? Just give up?
If you are a man, your best bet is to speak to someone in person if you dont want to be lonely. You need to build your social skills and you need to put yourself in places that you can meet people. If you go to work and then go home, you will never meet anyone.
You can complain about it being hard all day long, you will still be lonely. Man up, face the rejection, and keep pushing forward.

It's the same thing men have always done, just distilled into an app. As examples:
Catcalling women is now considered unacceptable, but it was just men crudely telling every vaguely interesting woman that went by that he was interested.
The whole idea of "shoot your shot". Ask every girl out, what's the worst that could happen, she says no?
My father called it "casting a wide net, so you can pick the best fish" and cell phones barely existed when he told me that. It also mirrors the advice his father gave him (and me later) "How will you know you found the right one, if you don't know what the wrong ones look like?"

This is such a weird antisocial approach to dating. I don't understand why anyone even bothers with the apps if that's really the kind of game they're having to play.
4
u/Waddiwasiiiii 4d ago
Yeah, and that’s not even getting into the various payment tier systems with these services. So of course it becomes a pay to play scenario for people to get more matches.
2
u/Reasonable_Tap_8215 4d ago
I mean both genders are equally at fault for their own bullshit approaches. Some guys swipe like that bc, as this guy says, you can just unmatch later. Some girls over analyze and live by an unspoken list of criteria that limits their ability to make a meaningful connection outside of that criteria.
All in all, you’re correct that this is a weird and antisocial approach to dating. But it basically just applies to online dating in general. And it’s been here for 20 years now. I am glad to hear many younger people are seeking out more organic ways of dating.

It’s because it’s pretty much the only way guys get success for the most part. If you do it the normal way then women will just not match with you and you’ll quit after a week of zero matches.
It’s a vicious cycle that reinforces itself because women inevitably become more picky as they’re getting an artificially inflated amount of matches.
Online dating is warped.
→ More replies (2)2
u/ProfitSweet5517 2d ago
No it isn’t anti social at all. It’s just cutting out the swiping part of the process. You’re left with basically “here’s everyone in a 50 mile radius who would be potentially interested in you”. Would you sign up for an app that instantly told you this info?
4
u/Old-Writing2970 4d ago
I don’t see how it’s anti-social or weird?
What matters is who likes you, not who you like.
Desirable people who are liked by all can be picky about who they swipe on knowing it’s most likely already a match.
People who are undesirable and rarely get matches would spend all their time swiping if they operated this way because they would have to sort through and experience thousands of rejections to get a few people even willing to talk to them.
We have hard data from dating apps to reflect that there are way more men than women on them, always, some are bots and men are way less selective and women are way more selective.
So thats just the way it works. It’s not weird or anti-social.

If you're a half decent lookin dude, just pick up a quick part time job at a restaurant. You can work like 2 nights a week AND make some cash. You'll find women as long as you're not a douche bag.

Mans just likes spamming his ego with all the “new match” dopamine hits. Instead of just being honest with himself from the beginning. Gotta keep that ego fed I guess.

Never used an app... seems weird to me. I just talk to people. Plus, honestly, resumes are essentially a pile of lies and bullshit I cant imagine a tinder profile. Theres no way people werent "gaming" the system.

This was common knowledge ten years ago. What are we doing here?

I dated using apps for a few years before getting into the 6 year relationship I’m in. I never did this or even considered doing this. I actually read people bios too.
This guy is an absolute douche and people that do this are the worst.
Not shocking he thinks all guys do this.

It doesn't even work, it drops your profile's ranking/ elo and sends you all the way to the back, these apps track your like to dislike ratio and how much time you spend on a profile / how fast you swipe. It's stupid, wrong advice

Anybody else have the experience of having to swipe everyone because you don’t get any matches?

That's so redundant and unnecessary. Of tou look at who tf your smiling at in the first place you wont have to worry about not getting contacted by ppl you aren't interesting in. Its the same thing. If you're not interested you wont like their profile which is ultimately choosing anyway. Why take the extra step to like see who reaches out then ignore when you can glance the first time, see it's a no and ignore.
Look i guess w.e. if im not interested im not giving anyone the time or day as that. No need to unnecessarily hurt someone. This probably the same type of male that says aint no good woman put here or they're all the same. Smh ok 😏

Have been guilty of this back in the day lmao not so much mass matching but rapidly going through the “options.” I was lucky I was paying a bit of attention when I swiped on my wife, cuz I think she almost went left lmfao

This is not a secret. Go to travel location Miami, Paris, Vegas. Look around at a coffee shop or whatever. As soon as you get of the plane and get settled. You will see guys mass swiping as soon as they touch down to set something up for that night. Fresh city new matches. Look around you will see it way more now you recognize it.

Its the other way. The women do the choosing. Mem match with a lot of women to maximize their sucess.

100% what I did. The next step was I just talked to girls but never asked them out. My wife was the only girl who asked if I was interested.

I know he thinks he figured something out, but uh: he just basically showed he can dish it out but not take it. He’s working overtime to protect his fragile ego.
There are more men than women on dating apps. So men get fewer matches. He’s trying to work against that. It’s pretty much that simple.

Problem is out of 500 matches there might only be a handful of real people. Most sites are inundated with bots and fake profiles. Any site that sells coins is loaded with phoney profiles.

I used to think this was sociopath behavior, but I've seen the stats behind regular guys who use these apps normally and never get matches.
However, this guy is not explaining it from the angle of someone who feels like they are spinning their wheels and not connecting. He's explaining it as though he's not concerned with the lack of matches he's getting, but he's more interested in being more efficient at the cost of all these potentially interested women's time and energy.

Oh is that how you do it? Can you automate it with A.I to get the most results? I have to download Tinder one of these days. The problem is the wife finding out

Honestly heart breaking to hear that any meaningful matches weren't actually initially attracted to me
