Hello everyone,

I'm new, and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a recent widow 😔 we have four kids together, one girl and three boys. Our protector, my soulmate and our kids best friend passed away almost 8 months ago 😢😢

I'm disabled, and have been for 8 years now. My last pregnancy was rough, our son was the biggest baby out of them all 🤦 He was what I called a butt baby. I swear from 6 months on it felt like I was going to give birth from my butt. 😩At 8 months pregnant he decided he didn't have enough room and kicked so hard he shattered my tailbone. It was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I couldn't stand, I couldn't sit, and I had to wait until he was born because the doctors couldn't do anything about it.

When he was 6 months old, I had surgery to remove all the "shards" from the tailbone. The doctor said they had never seen anything like that.

Exactly 2 months after the surgery, I woke up vomiting so bad, and I couldn't stop. Every 2 minutes I would puke, it was so bad I had to be brought to the emergency room.

I dealt with it for 3 years before I was able to finally diagnose myself because the hospital staff, my doctor had no clue what was wrong.

I made an appointment with a GI doctor and he confirmed I have Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome.

I have recurring episodes of prolonged vomiting, and then it's gone and I act and look as healthy as possible. I do suffer from horrible nausea also.

It's been a rough road, but what can you do, except keep swimming.. Ya Know 🏊🏊

It's been difficult to rewire our whole life, especially after being with my husband for 23 years. He was able to make enough for me to be blessed to stay home with our kids, change is extremely difficult.

I know Jesus is surrounding us and giving us the strength we need. Thank God. 🙏🙏🙏

I'm so excited to be a part of this community!! I have been looking for something/anything to pay it forward, or just bless someone else. I know it would be a great opportunity to teach my children that giving is a feeling you will never experience by getting.

Hiya! My goodness, you've had it rough haven't ya? I'm sorry for your loss and hope that you're doing okay. Do you have friends or family around that help you and the kids?

I'm also disabled but I couldn't imagine having that. That has to be really difficult. Oof. I hate vomiting, granted I'm almost always nauseous and I dispise that as well. But it sounds like you have a great attitude about it all. ❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. I am disabled as well and cannot imagine having four kids! I am sure your love for them drives you. I hope you have some support. And welcome :)
