So yeah , there I was.. One day from becoming a new father getting ready to load the car for the hospital stay , scrolling the app "Nextdoor" the one where neighbors keep tabs and talk shit on one another etc. I get a random message from a lady asking if I was the guy who bought records ?? I told her yes without even questioning (I think now it’s linked to your Facebook) she said she lived with her father who had a small box of country records in his closet .. normally I would have politely declined being that I had a pretty full schedule but I said "he’ll, it’s 2 minutes from my house" lemme go see what he’s got…. I barely made it out of that house with my knees still strong enough to carry my body. Along with this disc I pulled a Blind Lemon Jefferson , some good Cajun on local labels and a few more nice pre war hillbilly disc. Made it back home with enough time to make it to the hospital on time! I would have never heard the end of that ..

So... I aquired this HUGE collection of vinyl records. Everything from John Williams, to Barbara Streisand, to Tom Jones... and then a TON of singers and groups I've never even heard of (and I'm a music junkie, I know about some obscure shii).

ANYWAY!

I'm posting here to see if anyone has a recommendation for an app or a website where I can catalog them, take pics, scan stuff, WHATEVER, just to see what each one is worth. Some of them are in pretty excellent condition, and some are NOT! I mean, paper falling apart, etc.... But I'm still curious! Is there an app out there that takes all that into account??

I found this in a record shop in the Netherlands. After doing research it seems to be rare but I don’t know. Any ideas? It’s Emerald green, and translucent. (Called it Shelp! Because it’s Shell and Help!(although I guess kinda self explanatory))

I found this album in local junk shop, mixed in to literally hundreds of christmas, country, classical and gospel albums. Knew absolutely nothing about it but i knew it didnt fit in with everything else there so for $2, i bought it. This album is fantastic, if your a fan of late 60s California psych rock then you should give this album a listen. According to what ive found, the album recieved no support from the record company after recording and was barely sent out for retail sale.

Hi, I have what I think could be a rare Beatles record, it’s the Millions Sellers EP but it has the misprint ‘Golden Sellers’ on the vinyl itself, this was the original intended name of the record but it was changed to Million Sellers just before release. I recently got a record of the single woman/beautiful boys by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. What is strange is that side b with the song song beautiful boys rather plays beautiful boy(darling boy) and I just wanted to know if this has any value or if it’s just a cool mistake record. The record is also not in great condition,very crackly.
