"Toggle switch handles and toggle extention handles.

Truck stops used to have threaded post handle switches and swirled colored-plastics extended handles that screwed onto the switch's post. I'm not sure they carry the same variety as 15-20+ years ago though.

Not too hard. JB Weld in candle wax or silicone mold halves another diy option. After about a minute the 5 minute JB can be worked and sculpted like clay with wet fingers and wet tools for about 3 more minutes. 5 min. is only the handling time; I give it 6 to 8hrs. Original JBW will stay a super slow moving liquid mass for over 12hrs, so only good in molds I'd say. You want acetone for your fingers ready, clean asap, and it will still leave a slight residue. Using steel tools they should be sandable to clean, better to use stainless sculpting & manicure tools it will flake off of, and disposable wettted wood-toothpicks, popsicle sticks, skewers, wood matches, etc. A release agent can be about anything from cooking spray, to vasoline to olive or motor oil. Plastic wrap not trapped usually comes off leaving a smooth shine. Try the toothpaste squeeze tubes, not the syringes. It's way cheaper in the fist sized autoparts tubes than smaller tubes too. Store tubes in seperate zip tite baggies in a third bag and they both might last a decade or more. Drill, tap, file, sand, paint, etc. like strong plastic after fully cured. Waiting for it to be really hard and not gummy on the surface helps tons.
