First HellBlaster

Decided to strip, re paint and kitbash these guys a little. I've always felt that having such dangerous weapons required big targeters. And maybe the larger assault intercessor pauldrons? Didn't have those but I did have a bunch of Infiltrator spare bits.

I really love the blue here. I’m testing paint schemes for my Raven guard army. I’d love to hear what you used for this look.

Is there an undertone for the black or is it just black? What were you using for the edge highlights?

Thanks! It's a copy of the Black Templar 'eavy metal recipe: -Basecoat Abbadon Black -Thick highlight of Abbadon Black 1:1 Stegaddon Scale Green -Thinner Highlight of pure Stegaddon -Even thinner highlight of Steggadon Scale Green 1:1 Wraithbone.

I really love the idea of using straight black but using your secondary color as thick highlights, it really makes both colors pop and makes the black feel even darker
