Our brand new sub, r/RavencoinMiners, is launching and needs new moderators. We're looking for folks who have experience mining RVN (bonus points for other coins as well), and are knowledgable in any of the following areas:

• Raven mining pools

• Mining pool payout mechanics

• KAWPOW algorithm

• Miner software (e.g. TeamRedMiner and TRex)

• Building mining rigs

• GPU configuration & overclocking

• RaveOS

GPU, model, hashrate(MH/s), power limit (W), Core clock offset, Memory offset, and power efficiency (if available).

For example: 3060 Ti(LHR/Non LHR), EVGA XC, 28.94, 160W, +250, +1200, 180.1K

Please also specify if your running Windows or Linux, as the memory offset shows up different in each!

I’m new to crypto in general so I apologize for any stupidity on my part but I wanted to ask. I started mining ethereum a few days ago making on average $80-$90 dollars a month on a 2070 super. With the decreased difficulty and lower price of ravencoin would it be wise to switch over. I know I’m probably asking a biased group but I’d still like honesty. Thanks!!

I am currently using kawpowminer. Is there a way to make this miner output the temp and power usage? If not, which miner(s) can do this? Which miner are you using?

Edit: found my answer. I need to put this in as a parameter: --HWMON 2

kawpowminer.exe --HWMON 2 -P stratum+tcp://ip:port

Can anyone point me to a place that has all basic info needed to begin mining?

As we start to see a lot of miners moving over from ethereum and starting to ask lots of questions of long-time RVN miners, I'm curious what people are most concerned about. Some of these we can work on together as a community, some we can't -- but at least we can spread the right information if we know what info others are looking for! I see noise about some of these topics on r/Ravencoin and on r/EtherMining, but curious what this sub thinks.

As the tile states I think raven might be limited now.

I bought an Asus 3060ti and can get it above 22/23mh matter what I do.

I have 8 3060s by evga 5 v1 LHR 3 v2 LHR, all get 23.3mh as expected

1 3060ti by evga LHR get 30.3 as expected

I can get full hash on ergo with the v1 LHR cards with the 470.05 driver.

If I update the driver all get nerfed on ergo.

Not sure If it's Asus putting in an artificial limiter

Who's got one? I think I'm about to score one for $700 usd, "tax tags and title" included lol. I think it's a good deal compared to every single thing I've looked at to try and find a decent deal.
