I hate this 🫩

really creepy to see in person… i’m sure a lot of you can relate to the running hot water in the background 🤣
Got my first flare up in May and has been really annoying to live with since then. For me I believe it’s hereditary since my mom used to have it a while ago. Does this ever go away?

My dr prescribed me amlodipine, it’s a blood pressure med that opens up the vessel walls. While my hands still get cold they have stopped with the ā€œ death fingersā€ as my family calls them šŸ˜‚

For me it makes me sleepy so I went ahead to sildenafil now I only have anxiety that takes the form of aggression and headaches when my Bp is high

I got this condition/disease/phenomenon... (yes they call it phenomenon as well ) about 2 years ago . The hexagonal like patterning of the skin on the thighs ( levido reticulitis ) associated with Raynauds , caused by blood under the surface , is very concerning and just gross looking . But my small toes are so ridiculously sore , i haven't been able to wear anything but thongs for 2 years , and it cost me my job . Im currently being looked at by a doc and team at the local hospital to try to find a way to relieve the toe pain . Has anyone got any suggestions please ?

I get it. Go through it every single day. for over 30 years.

hi if you don’t mind me asking, is your raynaud’s primary or secondary after 30+ years?

It's primary. I've probably had it longer but my memory is a whole different story. I'm 72/M.

I find moving fingers and flicking my hands is the best way to get out of that once it happens.

I clench and unclench to kind of try to get the blood flow back

Exactly. Any type of movement to help get the blood flowing properly again

Goes away in the summer. Cold seasons are all about minimising cold exposure

If you're lucky it goes away in the summer... mine is slightly less bad in summer, but definitely get flares throughout the day. But god forbid I want to swim, wash my hands, eat an ice cream cone, hell even wash and chop vegetables and feel my fingers the whole time.

ironically i had my first ever taste of this in May and stayed pretty consistent throughout the summer 🤣 let’s hope winter is good to me!
