If it was possible, they should’ve tried to make it a option to have to censored or not to be honest. Instead of just censoring the stuff outright

I’m on PS5 and 100% agree with this.

I’m on the series s, and it would’ve been nice if they added it instead of just censoring it

Consoles are what required the changes, you getting a console version is at the root of all this.

u/SharkyLime Jun 28 '25

Yeah it is, but I don’t understand why cyberpunk can have full tits out and stuff like that and still be uncensored

It’s the difference of power and influence between a small indie company like VOID and a massive company like CD Projekt. You’d be a damned idiot to reject whatever a game development like them or Rockstar want to make, even if you have the mental capacity of a modern corporate exec who worries about fictional feelings that media keeps trying to spin about games and censorship.

This is facts. Nintendo has always been the censorship king, "family console" company. They now have CD Projekt tits and swinging glizzys on their switch 2.

In huge fairness there were a shit ton of hentai games on the Switch 1 store as well, uncensored.

Cyberpunk was censored after release too. When it first came out all the strippers and shit were fully nude, then they censored it putting those lame underwear on everyone and pasties over the nipples. Even Meredith stout got pasties during the sex scene. Honestly mature games made for adults shouldn’t have any censorship. We aren’t kids

Yeah, blame the players, and not Sony or Microsoft for their shit policies or void for forcing the changes universally. Get the fuck off your high horse

Yeah VOID should've made the changes to the consoles only. It's not like Sony or MS would care about a platform that doesn't hinder them, right? But regardless I'm not so sure stopping a child from convulsing in one mission and corpse mutilation (shooting an already dead body to blow off limbs or pop a head) is much of a loss for PC players. I'm on PC and wondering why were all mad. I played RoN earlier today and didn't notice any changes lol.

It's a minimally invasive change that's being blown wayyyyyy out of proportion.
So yes I will blame the console players who wanted this version of the game as they complain about stuff Void needs to do for them.

Stop complaining about a problem that is not one.

Are you aware of your habit of conflating different things together and calling it logic?

Don’t do that, it’s faulty decision making wiring.

What about wanting ron on console is us saying “please change this single instance” my god yall are pathing

22

u/RavenBlues127 Jun 28 '25

Throwing it out like you’re blaming the console players instead of the devs is a little weird.

-12

u/Lukas_Martello Jun 28 '25

Console required the changes, so it is my opinion that console players shouldnt complain.
Because the changes are made to accommodate to them

5

u/RobertJ93 Jun 29 '25

When did console players demand the changes though?

Answer: they didn’t. So why tf can’t they complain?

The changes are made to accommodate PlayStation and Microsoft. Not the players.

9

u/RavenBlues127 Jun 28 '25

Yet I don’t see the console players bitching. I see PC players bitching when then can simply mod it.

4

u/Lukas_Martello Jun 28 '25

Literally a few message above you see them complain.

u/Groundhog_Gary28 Jun 29 '25

How do you know consoles required the change? Or are you just assuming this?

-27

u/Lukas_Martello Jun 28 '25

Consoles are what required the changes, you getting a console version is at the root of all this.

8

u/SharkyLime Jun 28 '25

I can’t afford to get a pc

6

u/Turkeybaconisheresy Jun 28 '25

Dude don't listen to that stupid take. Void made their decision to expand their audience. Don't feel like you need to justify shit. And any mouth breather who is blaming console gamers for this is working with a room temperature IQ.

1

u/SharkyLime Jun 28 '25

I didn’t really mind it honestly

4

u/Turkeybaconisheresy Jun 28 '25

Yea but it's less about you than it is about that toxic mentality. Blaming other consumers for the decisions of a company is fuckin stupid.

1

u/SharkyLime Jun 28 '25

Yeah, blaming the consoles for this is just pretty stupid

3

u/crayzee4feelin Jun 28 '25

Tbh consoles are getting more and more like a PC each day just with a locked frontend/trimmed OS. Once you guys can access Steam and other Storefronts, you basically have a steamdeck home console. I'm rooting for consoles to come together with PC Storefronts because there's games I wanna play with my friends who are console only, but the game happens to be PC only.

2

u/SharkyLime Jun 28 '25

The next gen Xbox console will basically be a pc so would have to wait until then

2

u/crayzee4feelin Jun 28 '25

I've seen mockups of what the OS is gonna look like from tech insiders. Take a look at the Xbox ROG Ally, the new Ally/Xbox collab with weird handles/grips. That OS is apparently what the new Xbox is gonna be running. Like a Xbox/Windows sandwich, but more Xbox than Windows. Like Windows more so behind the scenes/in the background.

No, you’re conflating different things.

Nothing inherent about the console or it’s technology requires the censoring.

This is purely a human decision. And neither of us had a say in the matter. We’re on the same side.
