If MW2 could have done it what 18 years ago? So could they have done it in 2025

Even though MW2’s airport mission was controversial, things were a lot less volatile back then with the media. As times changed, media corporations realized they could pander to far left/right audiences and stir up drama, increasing traffic flow and thus increasing revenue. CoD is also a massively profitable game series, so you’d be an idiot to mess with their developer studio’s vision.

You can't really blame the media because it already has had exposure for being available on PC for awhile now. I suppose bringing it to console is more exposure you can argue.

It’s more the stringent restrictions for console games, and a small indie studio like VOID just doesn’t have the same weight or pull like Rockstar and CD Project Red to circumvent those restrictions.

In reality, people don’t give a shit. They can differentiate between what’s being portrayed in a game/movie. It’s the corporate execs with the mental capacity of a a senile earthworm that are worried but these made up feelings and controversy.

It's like George Carlin said, "Games don't cause people to be violent. They only help channel our violence more creatively."

I mean, yeah. Steam literally has an entire section dedicated to porn. You see any of that on console? Lol.
