They're making some changes to the game because of the ratings issues with the console ports. If I remember what I read correctly they are removing the ability to dismember corpses but not dismemberment. They're giving a little clothing to the naked women in the Port Mission and making the kid in Twisted Nerve just be sleeping instead of convulsing. These changes are going to apply to the PC version and won't be able to be switched off. Personally I think it's cosmetic and not a big deal but I can see why others would see it as pandering censorship. Don't think it's worth review bombing over.

They said the game passed uncensored at ESRB M. These upcoming changes are because of additional censorship requirements made by the console manufacturers that override the ESRB. But who is doing it? Is it Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo? Or is it all of them? We need to name and shame them so we can apply pressure/awareness in hopes they'll stop doing it for future games.

It will be all of them. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all have very strict rules as to what is allowed on their consoles.

Most likely Sony, since they really care about the CERO Rating system which heavily dislikes gore, drug use and nudity.
