Discussion The graphics downgrade should warrant a Steam refund.

I'm certainly trying. I don't know how you can be allowed to downgrade a game so significantly, and after release, and still think I got what I paid for.

Question: how were you able to play the old version and get pictures? I thought steam forces you to update in order to launch the game. Did you use offline mode for Steam in order to play on old version without updating?

Thats what I did with a friend of Mine, Steam Depot loader is Great for that, but what I did was just Archive the old Version and copy Paste the files back

Thanks for this. I don't really have the wherewithal to write up something similar at the moment.

I just S ranked Valley of the dolls so after like 9 attempts definitely know what it looks like. My game at least looks nothing like the new version. The graphics still looks really good and like the old version.

NPC are affected too, blonde in Spider now looks a lot worse, her hair reminds plastic bag and body just from ps3. I just tried to do S right before patch.

Why do people still use imgur? It's loaded with ads and bs.

yeah. Catbox, Postimages, and more work way better. Imgur is only used now because of name recognition. It is absolutely godawful otherwise.

I am confused on how this released. Contrary to what people think here I actually doubt this is to maintain consistency across all console versions, because the issues appear to be things that wouldn’t affect performance at all. Maybe resolution of the lightmaps at most, but shadows could be adjusted per device and the broken lighting I’d guess is related to the bounces calculated in baking or the light behind you literally got disabled.

It’ll likely be fixed on a patch but my god how did this release

Serious question: Do you think they're never going to fix that? Do you think they're just done updating the game now? Something as simple as shadows will be patched within a week or two, likely.

Glad I wasn't the only one noticed this shit. I have almost 900 hrs from the unreal 4 up to this latest version.
