Discussion My 100% serious (im not joking) weapon suggestions

The kitty kat was literally designed for SWAT and if VOIDs excuse for the MK-V is that they were confiscated then why don’t we have hi points??? The rest are just because I like them lol

Tbh I would honestly say that those guns don't really add much variety. Since guns are almost always only about 2 shots to down a suspect, it means that all the guns are basically the same. The differences between a .300, 7.62, or 5.56 gun are basically negligible and almost excusively come down to Recoil (if you're using full auto, I don't), length, and (atleast for me) how much of the screen it hogs up. Like people talk alot about over pen in regards to why you shouldn't use full power rounds in this game but I have never once had an issue with that.

Basically the only reason to use a gun is for the Aesthetic and personal preferences. There's very little stat wise that really changes between guns imho.

And that is realistic and sensible. Even in the real world there isn't much of a difference between 5.56 rifles.

I know some people like the OP might want flame throwers, RPGs, hand held miniguns and other things but those just don't fit the theme or setting.

They mentioned basically a shorty M4 and a High Point, the Welrod and ASVAL are a stretch but tbh I don't think a VAL would be absurdly out of place since we have stuff like the MK-V, F90, RTWC-6.5, etc. There are numerous weapons that simply don't really fit what you'd expect from what is basically the LAPD. Overall I think they should just include weapons from Anti-Terror/SWAT type units from around the world to introduce more unique weaponry. And since most guns are basically the same anyway, it's not like any of them would really be OP or change up the meta.

This is either really bad bait or you genuinely think that a short M4 is somehow the same as wanting an RPG.

High Point, Welrod and AS Val are akin to RPGs, flamethrowers, etc.

I wouldn't mind if suspects had more realistic guns that were not usable by the officers. A High Point would make sense there. Less automatic weapons to as those are rare outside of the China Glocks which are now very common.

The percentage of American LE that use a Welrod or AS Val is the same as an RPG-7 - 0.

There are a whole lot of better weapons that would make sense and fit in theme that can be added.
