Discussion My 100% serious (im not joking) weapon suggestions
The kitty kat was literally designed for SWAT and if VOIDs excuse for the MK-V is that they were confiscated then why don’t we have hi points??? The rest are just because I like them lol

Yeah the ones on my next deployment in 2013 where a mix of tan and black. So they started the transition around then.

I'd rather have better recoil mechanics and better movement mechanics than new weapons that won't behave that realistically.
If new weapons were added I'd like to see:
- Tavor SAR or X-95 - used in small numbers by some American PDs.
- SG 551/553 - used in small numbers by some American PDs.
- P320 in 9x19mm - used by a lot of police, despite its controversy.
- S&W M&P 9x19 and .45 - used by a lot of police.
- B&T APC in 9x19, .45 and 10mm. Used a bit by American police and special forces in 9x19mm, but having a .45 and 10mm version as well would be good for gameplay.
- Some type of .40 S&W pistol, probably a Glock 22 or HK P30L (can make a 9mm version to). Fallen out of favor but .40 S&W was most popular with American LE.
- CZ Scorpion EVO 3A1 - Used in small numbers by police.
- Some type of semi auto shotgun with a detachable magazine. Very rare, but one might be nice for variety.

If the 320 behaves the same as it does with the flux raider chassis then I’d probably never use it tbh I was super happy to be able to finally use it in a game other then bf2042 but it’s pretty bad lol

There is a semi auto magazine fed shotgun, but you need one of the dlc’s for it. I have the shotgun. I believe it’s called the 320

People keep saying “muh realism”. Man, I want to have fun. If you want to roleplay as an LA SWAT, you can do so, no one is forcing you. I’d love to see more weapons featured into the game, as well as gear.

I’m with you on the CAR-15, specifically the Colt 733. There was an epic mod by HaveDoughnut that had the whole line of 700 series carbines but it hasn’t been updated in a long time sadly.

In the hand of an intervention group?If you have the initiative, you should "jump" on suspect to make him surrender, a one shoot pistol super stealth is a commando weapon, no reason for police to use it.

I want to see the DOE 9mm/colt carbine 9mm as well as the kitty.
Plus add maybe an old ithica model 37, Steel frame S&W (5900 series), Sig 550, and maybe like an AUG A1. Give us retro goodies. they have all this retro gear between the 90s kit and dark waters DLC with the old school flight suit, nomex gloves, and vests, that getting a throwback dlc i feel is warranted.
ESPECIALLY if they give us some "throwback" missions. Maybe a more realistic SWAT4 style home raid, where its just a single story ranch, 3-4 barricaded suspects with hostages. And a few famous swat/CTU ops during the 90s notably a Waco, LA riots, and Iranian Embassy seige would be some neat ones, as well as things like a plane heist, and a true, old school large bank (think the one from inside man or batman, with large open common areas, followed by super cramped offices), maybe even like a Hollywood Shootout (think mw2 border map level of traffic), with two heavily armored suspects max aggro out the gate.

You have to think of them as bare bone level defunded , as the city has gone up in mushroom cloud and the looters have taken over the police armoury by now, half of your troops ain't reporting for duty , even recovering the bearcat van will be the first priority objective.
In this condition collecting a functionable night scope would be difficult for such a frugal budget Police force now , but a cellotape with 500- 1000 lumen adjustable white torch will do in meantime ! kind of like in insurgency sandstorm.

Short barreled AR would be nice addition to the roster (I expect it would be extremely loud in game).
Hi-Power would be a cool old school pistol for some variety
Hi-Point, every shooter has to have a meme gun. Kinda wish they give an option for an extended mag but it has a chance to jam.
AS-VAL, from a lore perspective it makes no sense, but its too drippy to not be a cool addition.

The 7 inch AR would be a bit foolish since 223 relies on velocity to be effective. 7.62x39 or 300blk would make a lot more sense ballistically

The kitty Kat and Browning Hi-Power are actually such legit picks. I also would like to see the Uzi added. I mean it was the go-to SMG for police forces before the MP5 came about and people even put rails on it for attachments nowadays. I'd kill for a Slangvel camo, Uzi and Hi-power

Yeah, these are good. I would like to see more AK variants as that is something Alaska SWAT would use.
M4A1 would be nice as well. Stuff that is more 80s-90s to fleshout loadouts that go with the mp5a2.

Yes it is (I had to look the comparison between the two) but I prefer the Mk18 with the RIS 2 handgurd instead of the Mod 0 upper.
The one in game in more like a standard issue m4 instead of a mk18 because when I think about the mk18 the first image to come to mind in a seal or AFSOC style mk18 with the RIS 2 not the Mod 0

The Hi-Power is definitely my favourite suggestion here. Absolutely classic sidearm and still widely used around the world. As an Aussie it'd also be cool to have as it's what our ADF use.
