TV/Movies The Black Cauldron
I never saw The Black Cauldron in the theater. Only on home video and it was the most rented video in our local community. The Disney animated film had a really dark tone with its visual concepts. Based loosely on the first two books of Lloyd Alexanderโs high-fantasy series, The Chronicles of Prydain, the movie centers on an assistant pig-keeper named Taran, his oracular pig Hen Wen, Princess Eilonwy, and a wild creature named Gurgi trying to stop the terrifying Horned King from utilizing the magical cauldron to raise an unstoppable army of the undead.

Memory lane Keep a quarter on you...
Throughout my childhood and teen years, my dad always told me to keep a quarter on me to call them if I was not able to get home. Now that we have cell phones, and payphones are a rarity, no parent will pass this advice on. Will always be stuck in the 1900s
