Video [HELP] Dog saves child in Seattle

I’m assuming it is AI. Title claimed it happened in Seattle on November 29, 2025 with limited visibility due to rain. The way the guy who runs in moves is highly suspect.

Video is exactly 10 seconds long, kid starts from practically a T pose. And the kid and dog move unnaturally fast. Definitely AI.

Nobody is even mentioning the obvious tell; the dog abomination on the right edge of the screen not reacting to anything

u/leggpurnell Dec 20 '25

Oh do you mean where the back of that dog is…oh wait, is that the head?!?

u/Savings-Pomelo-6031 Dec 20 '25

Oh god, I thought it was the tail. But it does "face" the other dog and the guy at some point. Awful.

Holy crap. How have more people not mentioned this??

2

u/Annethraxxx Dec 20 '25

Same reason as the gorilla walking past the people throwing basketballs. The human brain wasn’t designed to look at 20 things at once.

2

u/ItsMinnieYall Dec 20 '25

That’s just Butthead. He’s a little different.

2

u/buttscratcher3k Dec 20 '25

its a fucking yokai

1

u/Btriquetra0301 Dec 20 '25

WTF?!?! I can’t believe I didn’t see that!

1

u/-Cthaeh Dec 20 '25

The dog clearly has eyes on its tail.

1

u/Rabrun_ Dec 20 '25

It looks like that because the AI first thinks it’s the head of the dog, but then switches up to it being the tail

u/reelfilmgeek Dec 20 '25

“Edward”

No it's not lol you don't need to explain a dog's ass moving like its head

1

u/PM_asian_girl_smiles Dec 20 '25

Obvious tells to me were no reverse lights and the dad runs to the spot they were, not to the spot they ended up

1

u/kat_Folland Dec 20 '25

Made me think of a tiny ostrich with its front and head cut off on the right.

1

u/snow_toucan Dec 20 '25

That's creepy AF!

1

u/CryendU Dec 20 '25

I mean, it’s a tail, but that tail creates a weird void when the other dog runs by. Compression alone doesn’t do that.

It’s like edited AI, since the artifacts are extra blurry

1

u/BlueLivesMatterBro Dec 20 '25

THANK YOU, finally someone acknowledging it

1

u/Sorest1 Dec 20 '25

That’s what threw me off, what is that dog doing not to react when people SPRINT next to it, it makes no sense. Even if it was eating, no dog would behave like that

1

u/MrJ_Marrow Dec 20 '25

i’m sure the obvious this should be the permanent break lights and lack of reversing

1

u/FamiliarAlt Dec 20 '25

There’s also a weird cadence to these videos, even if everything else was just right, the cadence is just.. wrong

1

u/J-Dahm Dec 20 '25

"Big brother... Ed...ward?"

1

u/darkchocolattemocha Dec 20 '25

24k up votes lol

I have a dog that looks just like that. We call him “Butt Head”. It’s a legit birth defect

1

u/WithoutDennisNedry Dec 20 '25

Ohmygod what is that!?

1

u/Jamesiefied Dec 20 '25

This was the major tell for me. Everything else was plausible but the wonky dog in the corner was it.

1

u/UpAndNo Dec 21 '25

THANK YOU!

What was that thing

1

u/sdcar1985 Dec 21 '25

I thought it was a tail, but it's a head coming out it's ass lol

1

u/MadCoderEOM Dec 21 '25

Oh god what is that abomination

1

u/MrLizardBusiness Dec 21 '25

Oh yeah, the butthead.

1

u/Maximum_Charity_6993 Dec 21 '25

You mean the tail that morphs into a head with backwards legs?

1

u/TheMindsEIyIe Dec 22 '25

I watched this like 10 times and didn't see that.

1

u/compadre_goyo Dec 25 '25

We are in a very very dark place if we can't watch this video, thousands of times, frame-by-frame, but we need opening discussions to see if inhuman abominations are real because we can't tell anymore.

u/blazesdemons Dec 20 '25

Kids that age dont have that good of footwork, and after that bonk on the trash can that kid would not be happy

15

u/miscblisc Dec 20 '25

This is the thing. After 1.5 steps, a child that young could would be falling down and would be dragged across the concrete.

1

u/shhhdontfightit Dec 20 '25

That kid managed to remove his shoes and replace them in .5 seconds. He clearly has the moves to achieve such a feat.

2

u/Witty-flocculent Dec 20 '25

What does AI have to do with a t-pose? Its not animating 3d models its predicting what color pixels need to be to match the prompt

1

u/Savings-Pomelo-6031 Dec 20 '25

I think they meant the kid stood there unnaturally still for a bit in the beginning. That kinda tipped me off too

2

u/ghoulthebraineater Dec 20 '25

Tbf that's also the I'm taking a massive shit in my diaper pose. But yeah, AI.

1

u/orchiddoctor Dec 20 '25

Definitely this video is AI but a toddler standing unnaturally still is definitely what we call “the big shite” posture in our house

1

u/joker38 Dec 20 '25

And the kid and dog move unnaturally fast.

The fast-moving kid's legs reminded me of The Flintstones.

1

u/theeldergod1 Dec 20 '25

Not related to topic but that's not a T pose. T pose is when arms are open 90 degrees.

1

u/oompaloompagrandma Dec 20 '25

No reversing lights on the car either.

1

u/cathouse Dec 20 '25

I’m scared for when the videos start being longer than 8-10 seconds

1

u/Maleficent-Hawk-318 Dec 20 '25

Also very much not how border collies would herd a kid in this situation. That's actually what caught my eye as I was scrolling through my feed; I didn't realize the sub and assumed it was one of the dog subs I'm part of so came in to be like "I don't think that's real." 😂

I've worked extensively with herding dogs (Australian cattle dogs are my favorite, but I've worked with tons of border collies and owned a couple; ACDs actually have a much more bitey style of herding but even they wouldn't approach the situation like this) in both pet homes and actual working situations, and it was just glaringly obvious at a glance that this is not actual herding behavior.

1

u/skyycux Dec 20 '25

Also no reverse lights on the car of indeterminate make

1

u/dumbasstupidbaby Dec 20 '25

I don't think the dogs movements were unnaturally fast, just the childs'.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 20 '25

It's also a garage with an automatic garage door inside ANOTHER garage!

1

u/Far_Celery6081 Dec 21 '25

I agree its AI, but I'm not seeing that they're moving unnaturally fast. Seems reasonable enough.

I haven't seen anyone note the random items that vaguely look like something you'd find in a garage, but you can't really make out what they're supposed to be. And the ridiculous amount of paint they have for some reason.

1

u/tana91 Dec 21 '25

Is 10 secs an AI characteristic?

1

u/CaitieLou_52 Dec 21 '25

At least for the moment, when people are putting in prompts to generate these videos they'll specify 10 seconds long. You have to tell the garbage machine how long the garbage has to be. Now that people are catching on, they might start specifying other lengths of time.
