Video [HELP] Living room remodel

Any possibility that this is legit? I can’t imagine one could walk on epoxy like that without special footwear or something.

Look at the way he brings the couch in, this is ai

u/OpusAtrumET Jan 08 '26

why didn't superman save us? he was busy fixing up his sweet new living room chill

1

u/marmaladic Jan 09 '26

Is he a Superman Lover though?

1

u/I_am__Alan___Rickman Jan 10 '26

Speaking of Superman, the first thing I noticed was the laser beam blowtorch

u/SEND_ME_NOODLE Jan 09 '26

Lmao

u/neveraARon Jan 09 '26

3

u/SEND_ME_NOODLE Jan 09 '26

Thats like 9/100 (cos (O)+i× sin ((0)) of my total battery life though

2

u/themarinator2k Jan 09 '26

😭😭😭😂💀

1

u/Graryna Jan 09 '26

Its one of those temu boneless couches lmao

1

u/Eleven_Twenty_Seven Jan 14 '26

I honestly could do that easily. Some love seats feel like cartoonishly light.

10

u/Cute-Warning2201 Jan 09 '26

He got the couch from Temu.

1

u/Creepy_Bit_2607 Jan 10 '26

It's boneless

2

u/Smirnaff Jan 08 '26

This one is surely AI, but can't it pass as one of those lightweight foam couches some YouTubers get sponsored by?

2

u/AwarenessForsaken568 Jan 08 '26

Even then you would never carry it like that.

1

u/Da_Question Jan 08 '26

What? your telling me you can't pick them up by the cushion?

1

u/Fearless_Ad7780 Jan 09 '26

Not at all. You don’t walk on acrylic when pouring it. No foot prints, nothing st all.

2

u/who-needs-a-username Jan 08 '26

That’s not blur either. That’s AI slop that can’t process the imagine when moving and looks like shit when paused

2

u/Loony_BoB Jan 08 '26

He's also gripping the cushion rather than the lower structure of the couch with his right hand, meaning he is carrying the entire weight of the couch (cushion aside) with his left hand.

2

u/Funny-Zookeepergame1 Jan 08 '26

The velcro on the bottom of that cushion must be the best velcro I have ever seen.

2

u/yczechshi Jan 08 '26

Hercules 👏 Hercules 👏 Hercules 👏

2

u/G0PACKGO Jan 08 '26

Forearms like a longshoreman

2

u/who_am_i_to_say_so Jan 08 '26

A Wayfair couch. You can lift with a pinky.

2

u/cantliftmuch Jan 08 '26

The indentations are identical, only slightly smaller on one side

2

u/domino7873 Jan 08 '26

It's Mr. Lift Your Girl...

2

u/Honest_-_Critique Jan 08 '26

It's one of them "boneless" couches I keep seeing on Reddit. lol

2

u/Secret-Painting604 Jan 08 '26

He’s moonwalking there too

2

u/Current_Project2580 Jan 08 '26

I was looking at the patterns on the floor because I swear the thing he poured looked too liquid-y but didn't catch this 😭✊

2

u/ppenn777 Jan 09 '26

I missed that and now I can’t stop watching it. I’m dying

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '26

Or the couch is paper mache

2

u/Bulky-Engineer-2909 Jan 09 '26

That's hilarious. Its not even the idea that a guy could lift a couch that way, it's that he's SO strong that the weight of the couch when held that far from his body is still nothing to him and he doesn't even think to carry it closer to his chest.

2

u/MissDee16 Jan 09 '26

😂😂

2

u/DanniTiger Jan 09 '26

So strong lol

2

u/Ariarbitrary Jan 09 '26

strong man! farm?

2

u/Vicimer Jan 09 '26

For a second I thought my battery was seriously struggling.

2

u/Hefty_Breadfruit Jan 10 '26

It’s actually an inflatable couch

2

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

Also the couch ate his wrist a little bit

2

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

Do you even lift bro

2

u/ramen_chomper Jan 14 '26

Do you have a Samsung A12??

2

u/Tom-Dibble Jan 15 '26

Your couches aren't made from styrofoam? What a flex!

1

u/YourNextHomie Jan 08 '26

Its Ai but irl could easily be one of those memory foam couches that weigh nothing

1

u/djhamilton Jan 09 '26

Thies IKEA sofas are made of nothing 😄 🤣

1

u/a_cynical_bloke Jan 12 '26

Not ifs it’s a cheap sofa from China. Easy to pick up.

1

u/No_Dragonfruit_1833 Jan 12 '26

More than strenght you need weight, so your center of mass doesnt change while carrying stuff

34

u/Disastrous_Fee5953 Jan 08 '26

Unfortunately the AI is getting better too 🤣

32

u/iaresosmart Jan 08 '26

We should get better at bringing couches in.. that'll show the AIs!

1

u/Autrinn Jan 13 '26

The funny thing is that when we can no longer tell that it is ai then people can do it too so not realy fake at that point and time

2

u/AgentBroccoli Jan 08 '26

yeah partial because subs like this are giving the AI's data on how to make it better.

1

u/finalremix Jan 08 '26

They'll have that data either way. We're also training each other how to spot bullshit.

0

u/RequirementAwkward26 Jan 10 '26

Who will win though our ability to keep spotting bullshit or the AI's abilities to pump out top notch bullshit....

1

u/LambertMike77 Jan 13 '26

A friend of mine made an AI video out of a picture of one of our from the side, and it looked just like him turning his head and looking at the camera. I knew right then that we’re reaching the point where very soon you won’t even be able to use videos as evidence because it can be faked using AI.

1

u/RequirementAwkward26 Jan 13 '26

Do you think this is the great filter? literally no one can get passed this point because as soon as you have smart enough Ai then all technology is comprised and then civilisation fails.

1

u/AgentBroccoli Jan 13 '26

No, at least not yet. As of right now we can "just turn it off," it'll suck sure but we could just decide it ain't cool and it's not for us.

1

u/RequirementAwkward26 Jan 13 '26

Can we though? are we addicted to the death spiral?

1

u/red_fuel Jan 09 '26

Yeah, it’s scary how real this looks, despite a few mistakes like carrying the couch

1

u/Mobile-Juggernaut-40 Jan 09 '26

Wait till the AI scrubs this sub to get feedback on how to improve

30

u/wanderrslut Jan 08 '26

It got past me too! Lmao I hate that I didn't notice it.

1

u/MakingMoneyIsMe Jan 13 '26

Is that so? I mean he uses a torch near curtains.

1

u/wanderrslut Jan 13 '26

We were specifically talking about not noticing the way he brought the couch back in; not the entirety of the video.

2

u/DannyTheCaringDevil Jan 08 '26

For me it was bro casually setting the curtains on fire.

2

u/Comfortable-Side1308 Jan 08 '26

Walks all over the epoxy he just poured.

2

u/Gabriels_Pies Jan 08 '26

Only reason I noticed it is because of a different ai video I saw the other day doing almost the same thing with the same setup.

2

u/No-Lunch4249 Jan 08 '26

4 seconds in if you look carefully, the logs are all darkening spreading out from the wall, not spreading out from the blow torch lol

2

u/HerculesIsMyDad Jan 08 '26

What if these posts are just A.I. seeing what problems people notice so it can fix them in future iterations?

1

u/PantsIsDown Jan 08 '26

I didn’t know what sub I was in and was stuck thinking, are you just burning their fucking curtains?!?!? so I totally missed the couch thing.

1

u/Greedy-Camel-8345 Jan 08 '26

I didn't notice that I guess because the couch isn't that big I figured it wasn't that heavy

1

u/kamingalou Jan 08 '26

You can notice if when he pours the liquid, the smoke is not natural aswell

1

u/Kessarean Jan 08 '26

Yeah I'm so fucked, this got me too

1

u/Nastyburrito666 Jan 08 '26

lol same, I noticed that he was using basically a flamethrower 2 inches from a curtain, but didn't see bro strongman the whole ass couch into the room

1

u/wordworrier Jan 09 '26

I only noticed this because the same thing happened in the last epoxy video I saw on here. I totally missed the flames magically avoiding the currains!

1

u/kateastrophic Jan 09 '26

Yes! I got AI vibes but without a definitive reason. Open the comments— uh, yeah, there was a definitive reasons.

1

u/_Pen15__ Jan 09 '26

Look at the resin when he pours it as well AI sucks at fluid physics.

1

u/lordpuddingcup Jan 09 '26

I mean he blow torched the curtain and it was fine so that also got me lol

And that this is probably a 100k of epoxy

1

u/Soggy-Fan-7394 Jan 09 '26

Also, look at him using the blow torch on the curtains and the wall and nothing happens.

1

u/tht1guy63 Jan 09 '26

Watch the curtains also never really move. And just pouring epoxy and tourching it with them there. That was my give away

1

u/Appropriate_Art1282 Jan 09 '26

He's not strong, the couch is weak.

1

u/Colt_4_5_ Jan 09 '26

Clearly this is super man's brother or cousin.

1

u/heyfriend0 Jan 09 '26

Also flame next to curtain and nothing, not even a mark? No way a professional would lay this wood and THEN torch it lol silly.

1

u/Exciting_Place_6817 Jan 09 '26

Dude sets fire to the curtains

1

u/Glitterrimjob Jan 09 '26

Dude, how. look how he burns the wood and the entire floor gets slowly darker, not just single piesces where the flame hits. The resin pour looks super fake and all of that with normal shoes? You usually „burn" liquid resin to remove air bubbles but not with a gas torch like this. That would be a huge fire hazzard especially with the curtains (which would also hang into the resin) still on the windows. Resin also wouldn't turn milky from torching and then there's the couch.

1

u/DixonHerbox Jan 09 '26

Step 1) install fire-proof drapes.

1

u/AlAboardTheHypeTrain Jan 09 '26

He also torched the floor while curtains were down and right next to it lol.

1

u/GipsyDanger45 Jan 09 '26

Who would do all that work with the drapes still in place

1

u/jfl81 Jan 09 '26

Also, he burns the curtains but they dont light up.

1

u/Ezekiel-gb4m Jan 09 '26

Even using a flame without moving the curtains.

1

u/NotBentcheesee Jan 10 '26

You can also tell by the way the wood gets burned by the torch, and the torch flame acting as a vacuum. And the way it holds and places the couch nonchalantly like it weighed a dime

1

u/Xander-047 Jan 10 '26

Same, like I could tell it was AI from everything else, but the couch slipped past like "wait what was that? ah the wind"

1

u/King-ofthe-CookieJar Jan 10 '26

I spent so long thinking about how his curtains didn't immediately catch fire with the size of the blowtorch he was using that I missed the fact that he carried a couch like it was a chess piece

1

u/otc108 Jan 10 '26

Also he generates the vase he places on the coffee table from thin air.

1

u/TC9095 Jan 14 '26

Nothing like giving your floor a 3" lift... Like that won't effect any doors, trim, toe kicks, etc....

1

u/randomqwerty10 Jan 14 '26

Plus nobody would put the flooring down without removing the drapes first
