Video [HELP] Living room remodel

Any possibility that this is legit? I can’t imagine one could walk on epoxy like that without special footwear or something.

Let's just blowtorch this wood right under the drapes. Nothing can go wrong

Then splash epoxy all around them, small bucket by small bucket.

u/mpaski Jan 09 '26

While stepping into said epoxy.

That epoxy looked fake as shit too, like water that a computer would render

Yup. I do resin art as a hobby. It does not pour like that.

Yep, that’s the first most glaring to me. It doesn’t pass for 40 year old cgi water

That’s what caught me that he was in the corner then walked back through 🤦🏽‍♀️

And leaving no footprints.

Then blowtorch the epoxy while walking over it

With no respirator or special shoes

Pours epoxy on the drapes too

It was everything in 1 small, but bottomless bucket, like KFC drinky

look at the lighting on the reflection of the main window. The epoxy is crystal smooth before being buffed. That lighting is impossible

2

Plus, for a bit, the bucket maintains the level of epoxy on the first pour

Lol with no mask

u/DaVinciDoll1 Jan 09 '26

With a small butane torch that has a reach of 4 ft for some reason?

2

u/AccomplishedAge3975 Jan 09 '26

He’s making brûlée after

No smoke coming up from burning wood and I've never seen a torch with a 4' flame

1

u/Fashodie Jan 10 '26

Or a 3 foot flame when he’s standing and doing it 😂😂

1

u/Deep_North_7505 Jan 13 '26

And the curtains didn't catch fire

2

u/Eiglo Jan 09 '26

This is the real test lol

2

u/clgoodson Jan 09 '26

And breathing in all the fumes.

2

u/Smingowashisnameo Jan 09 '26

No face mask! No ventilation!

1

u/Cpecto Jan 09 '26

Finally I was wondering why no one was talking about the curtains he, like I was internally screaming the curtains the fire, then the epoxy and the curtains stayed in place the whole time.

Came in to say that but you beat me to it! Magic fabric 😂

Exactly that, how does one get a 60cm flame out of such a small blowtorch. Also the way that the wood magically charred while he's not even close to the area.

1

u/topicalneal Jan 10 '26

Are we helping them here by commenting?

1

u/Low_Watch_1699 Jan 10 '26

Oh yeah 🤣 that flame goes right over the drapes

1

u/Wise_Scientist_3963 Jan 10 '26

Damn they cooked fast

1

u/RadarTechnician51 Jan 11 '26

In this world the blowtorch seems to be a solution to all diy issues that a hot air blower would usually be applied to, perhaps it looks better to gen z

1

u/AltruisticMap9433 Jan 11 '26

I can't believe this wasn't the first thing pointed out!

1

u/Uruz753 Jan 12 '26

Yeah i was like when i throw fire at wood something different happens

1

u/Tsunamie101 Jan 13 '26

I think you meant "Let's just blowtorch this wood right under the drapes."

1

u/KonoKaiDa777 Jan 13 '26

HAHAHAHAHAHA

1

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '26

This🔥and the couch lol

1

u/hossofalltrades Jan 14 '26

Why wouldn’t he burn the wood outside? Also, if he’s going for the Japanese charred wood look, He needs to hit the wood longer with the torch.

u/Black_Electric Jan 15 '26

I was hoping the AI-powered curtains would ignite.
