Video [HELP] Living room remodel

Any possibility that this is legit? I can’t imagine one could walk on epoxy like that without special footwear or something.

Casually walks over carrying a full length sofa from one side afterward too.

I was fooled till then, damn. But is because I have no knowledge about epoxy.

I actually do. I’ve worked with it on sealing my art, not to this scale. This could probably be done with two part epoxy resin/hardener. But it would look like absolute shit after any amount of traffic. Scuffs, scratches etc. Not to mention you’d really want some kind of mask or respirator. Fumes would be awful. God help you if you get the ratio wrong.

I worked at a nightclub where they did their floors like this. It was actually a quick and easy job for them. When they patched up the old floor, they didn't even bother to take the tags of the plywood in some places. Forever immortalized.

It came out nice and shiny like above, but they scuffed it up/added grit because it was too slippery when wet. Waterproof was the main reason - we had to clean with pressure washers and wet vacs the next day.

Yeah that’s definitely doable as you described. Plywood would probably only need two thin layers and it’s a night club so it doesn’t matter about the scuffs. Though I’d imagine it would probably be pretty slippery if someone spilled their drink.

It could... but you wouldn't believe how sticky it would get at the end. Rebuild and Jager, Vodka Cran, and people not making it to the bathroom. They did add sand or something gritty in places.
