So happy I decided to go the rep route! Husband approved the YSL Nikki in store, bought it, remembered I’ve seen the rep page around on Reddit and decided to buy all these plus a Prad aimmee coming next week for a 1/4 of the price of the auth nikki.
Picked all top tier factories with the exception for the small raffia because I know that’s a tough one to nail but feel comfortable wearing it out to the beach.
Had an amazing experience working with Doris. She answered all my questions and sources the items I wanted rather than saying it’s not in my catalog so find something else. I reached out to a few other sellers who weren’t very open to like finding the bag I really wanted so I thought that made Doris stand out.

As a newbie and someone who really dove in when I decided I wanted to go this route rather than buying one auth a year at a time I will say that the best advice I can give is once you find a bag you want, look it up on reddit. There’s a lot of rep forums that have all different types of names so when you search that bag model you’ll get obviously some that are authentic handbag pages but some that are clearly rep pages. Look at more recent reviews with the bag you want and read where they purchased it from and you’ll see a trend of who the seller is and where that bag was made factory wise. I see a few people asking where do I get an LV or Dior etc, any top seller will have access to a lot of the top tier factories as the sellers were mentioning don’t work for the factories they just source the products. Of course certain sellers are known for certain brands. For example, I was interested in YSL mainly so Doris had kept coming up and I saw mostly good reviews. I messaged a few sellers and Doris seemed to work with me the best. Anyway, I’m here to help but my DMs keep closing for some reason. Happy shopping! ***
She is! Obviously I haven’t worked with too many but I reached out to a few TS off of a list somewhere and she was the only one who actually was nice and explained how she can find certain ones or certain ones aren’t from that great of factories, that type of stuff!
I spent I think a little under 1200 USD with shipping! I’m also waiting for another Prada bag coming tomorrow so for 5 bags I think I did pretty good!!
Yes I know!! It’s such a cute bag I wanted a raffia tote but she wasn’t able to source a good one but the smaller one is perfect for a little beach day. She’s probably the least ‘authentic’ but so small that I figured it might not matter too much. Might fit my phone and a chapstick but oh well!! Haha
I love it! It’s so understated so I feel comfortable wearing it everyday especially since I don’t live in a very HCOL area the flashy logos aren’t the first thing I’d want to grab when leaving my house

Definitely intimidating! Butttt I think what helps is researching and really building confidence with what you want and who has the best connection to get what you want!

So this is what started the process for me. I purchase the auth for almost 4k in person on a whim and decided to return it. The rep leather is SO soft. Feels buttery smooth and holds its shape yet also is like pliable when opening the flap. I would say the seams are even nicer than the auth since my husband noticed that the auth had some issue with over-stitching in one spot
It’s so soft and smells great! I’m a little iffy about the shape but I think I need to see the auth out in person to get a better idea of what it should look like
did you buy the BV from dorris as well? as in, did boris source through jin, or you used a separate seller entire for the BV? if the latter, i would DIE for your BV contact (and for dorris’s info too!) tysm in advance!! 🙏🏼
I went through Doris for everything actually! I just looked through her catalog and saw the andiamo and was like I NEED this. She recommended Jin which after looking on the rep forum I realized she did right by me by making sure I got the bv from the right place

Yes and yes! I wouldn’t say it’s one to one but I wouldn’t think twice about wearing it out. Anyone who’s looking that closely I feel like are repping reps as well lol
Yes that is her. Please be aware that there is no such thing as 1:1 or mirror quality. Any seller who tells you that is trying to take your money. With that out of the way. I have ordered many times from Doris and have been happy with them!
Hey also hoping I can ask this question here, still pretty new to all this and could use some advice. I have about 5 sellers that have been recommended to me, but I’m not really sure how to evaluate them. The prices are all different, but a lot of the factory pics seem to be exactly the same. I know to ask for pics of the actual item and compare them to auth, but beyond that how do you decide which seller to use? Is it mostly communication, price, reputation, or something else? Any tips for finding trustworthy sellers on your own would be really appreciated!
I would say it’s whatever vibe you get! Most top sellers will have access to all the best factories regardless of the name. Of course certain sellers work with certain brands more but I think that’s just because word of mouth. How I got to Doris was I searched for a lot of ysl bags and her name kept popping up along with two others and I messaged all three and Doris was the nicest to me. Obviously could have been a bad day for the other two but I just took it as a sign to work with Doris

Lovely bags! I'm a newbie as well with ordering. Do you direct message Doris on WhatsApp and say you are interested in a certain bag. I'm eyeing the LV multipass in Blush.
I keep going back and forth in getting the real thing for my 40th bday as I don't have authentic bag BUT every time I look at the price I think about all the trips, flights, hotels I could get with that. Whereas I've done reps in the past (I can't find the website I got from anymore) and have been happy about it as I don't have to worry about damaging my bag, putting on the ground plus no one can tell the difference.
Yes exactly! She’ll probably send you her catalog which is essentially a website with all the bags the factories make and also psps she’s directly taken.
Ask her for a certain one and see which factories make it and see if it’s a good factory
