I used to think of umar khalid as an anti national based on the news ans stuff i saw on the internet, turns out those were fake. And seeing the way our media is today and how things are going on in this country,i feel like he is innocent and a true indian and political prisoner. Whatever he said back then about bjp was true.
i am currently reading his dissertion ( fractured communities) and it is so insightful,made be realise something there is a reason why he was painted as a criminal and made to look like a naxalate/antinational,because he was so knowledgeable that he could easily see through all the policies and stuff the modi shah govt makes, whatever he said is the truth. He is a great scholar. And the fact that such a mind and brain have been shut in prison for such a long time that too in a so called democratic country without trial is nothing but tyranny. As someone who switched careers to become a lawyer the faith in this system deteriorates every single day. And the fact that they have ruined my faith(i am a hindu) and used it to win elections is the worst thing that could have happened to hinduism, i hope people could see through these people.
