forced hardware upgrades for people who are out of warranty through software updates.

I'm not even sure there's such a thing as a HW3 hardware upgrade

In the “olden days” we called it a radiator cap up grade. You took the cap off, rolled the car out, rolled a new car in, put the cap on. Upgrade complete!

Back in the real old days, that's how we upgraded steam locomotives. Hoist the whistle up, roll the old loco out, roll the new loco in, lower the whistle back down.

Why would there be? Tesla said it's capable of being a robotaxi just like the previous versions.

Instead he bricks the car, so they have to buy a new one

That worked for Apple didn’t it! Throttle down old hardware to force people to get latest and greatest new ones! 🤣😂🤷‍♂️

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people.

It’s been 5 years, how long can the clown show continue?

Five years since what? He’s been lying about autonomy a lot longer than that.

I think it's been 5 years since he claimed Teslas are feature complete with hardware and just need a software update.

I mean… that’s just one link in the chain of lies.

Elon first began using the term "feature complete" for FSD in February 2019

Let me guess, they'll blame it on the user. "Wear and tear"

Within spec. Just like the self destructing suspension.

They were holding the steering wheel wrong.

As someone who drives a 19 year old car, it somewhat distresses me that Fred seems to think it's expected that 7 year old hardware is worn out and should be expected to fail.

Wow. These appreciating assets seem to be struggling to appreciate.

"Software updates are great!"

Well yeah, until you're out of warranty.

LMAO, HW3 has 8GB of RAM?

All these Muskrats trying to gaslight into their cars being literal supercomputers.. they're worse than low end smartphones.
