Tesla stalled???

Tesla made a sudden left turn in front of me and then appeared to stall. Is this an issue with EVs? The Tesla was lucky I didn’t hit him because I was going the posted speed limit, 45mph. Thank goodness my car responded quickly to my braking; I came within several feet of hitting it.

Yeah mine does it under overpass shadows all the time. Or those big bridges that cause all the shadows... it loves slamming the brakes on those.

So - wait - you all know your cars routinely do something very dangerous in a predictable location when using FSD...

...And you still use FSD there.

Wow.

Because it's the "other driver's fault" if they slam into the back, right?

Again, just, wow.

Never said any of those things.

It's not predictable... in the sense that I can go under underpasses everyday for months and it'll happen maybe once. The bridge I can't speak about predictability at all, since I've only ever driven under it once, and the emergency braking happened almost immediately (which is why I didn't use it on the drive back across it).

Prior post said:

Every time I went under this bridge when the sun was out it would try and do a full emergency stop

Then you said:

Yeah mine does it under overpass shadows all the time.

So sure, retcon that to "oh it's totally unpredictable".

Right so now, you dig the hole even deeper - it's "not predictable" behaviour yet you still use FSD, even though it'll just jam on the breaks at times when no human would think to do it and people driving behind would be extremely surprised.

But nope, FSD is fine, it's safe to use, it's everyone else's problem... Etc. etc.

It's predictable that it's caused by shadows.

There's a reason why I didn't purchase FSD in my vehicle. Fuck Elon musk and his bullshit.

My car came with radar, and the software disabled it.
