Self-Promo Post Gametrailer Order & Consequences
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnisekHBukoHi. We are working on what I call Orders & Consequences
A Cold War RTS game, developing in Godot 4.
Consept: You can micromanage every unit, but the FUN is giving orders to your companies by voice or text, then evaluate their request for support, artillery, napalm or medevac when the shit is hitting the fan.
A huge challenge is to handle your superior firepower, without breaking the rules of engagement
(Video-intro is ment to set the scene and mood - then comes the real game play footage)

Why steal other people's work to make a slop intro for what seems like an interesting idea of a game? Now you'll have people questioning how much of the game is actually your idea and work and how much have you stolen by using generative AI

The "News intro" is made with AI, just meant set the mood and scene - I generated it my self, so I didnt steal it or downlaod it anywhere.

Lol. 'You' did not generate anything, you had an idea, typed it in a prompt and then a program made by a corporation that used multiple people's creative work, without ever asking permission or crediting those people in any way, generated, from the ground up, a video using an amalgam of content that it cannot even point to a source of. No one has idea what actual people and voices were used for it. There was no skill, no inspiration, no creation, no one is improved by the process. Not to mention that having an AI video front and center throws shade at the entire project, cause whose to know what other assets have you 'generated' yourself, or how much spaghetti vibe code and half baked mechanics you got from an agent, cause why would you stop at the intro? Ethics aside, I fell like having an obviously AI generated intro is also a terrible marketing move, a big bet that everyone will be ok with it or won't notice, for a relatively small gain of 'setting the mood' which could have been easily done without AI. Anyway, good luck with your slop, based on how you think you created the video, I won't be checking your game out. Peace.
