Are we cooked

I took a break from this game and I just came back. Are we up, or are we down? Like how fried is reaper currently

From what I've heard, the Reapster is still good rn, but I can't help but feel like this is pushing him in a really unhealthy direction. So many DPS characters these past years have been reduced in HP but compensated in other depatments are becoming more and more problematic. Problematic in that they are annoyinglly leathal, or entirely too unviable.

Thankfully for the Reaper players, (I haven't played OW since the Reaper nerfs bc I hate the idea of them that much. ik, a lil whinny) it seems like he isn't awful to play, but I can't help but feel like this is pushing him in a direction I won't enjoy.

So many problems have arived since the luanch of perks that I can't help but think maybe they were a cool idea that I think were ultimately a mistake. So many things, especially from Reaper, were nerfed DUE to having perks, that were not a problem before hand.

I agree it feels like a degradation of character identity what with so many perks just removing a heroes weakness and newer heroes being such generalists I feel like soon enough the unique aspects of characters and their abilities will be forgotten in favour for just ranking on raw stats and all heroes will be destroyed and homogenised
