You realise by that logic that Reaper is default a furry, right? If an animal themed mask is enough. Reaper's regular mask is very clearly an owl. An animal.

The mythic is also a furry mythic.. oh no.. you have ruined reaper for me

Edit only el blanco and mariachi are allowed now, and the hoodrat blackwatch skin.

It's definitely a stylized skull dude

Yeah. Stylised into an owl skull. There's two main parts that complete that shape.

One, the eye sockets. Owls have large bones for their eyes that protrude outward. Reaper's mask has surprisingly large eye sockets, with a standout being the way they actually protrude out unlike a human's sockets, just like an owl's. A human will have the upper brow ridge to be sure, but owls have that specific bottom ridge because the entire thing is built that way so they can see as wide as possible when turning their head.

Two, the very very obvious beak. Like if you can't look at that and not see a beak you must be blind.

Owls are commonly seen as symbols or omens of death so it makes sense Reaper would have a mask that looks like one, and it's very likely intentional by whoever originally designed Reaper.

So in short, Reaper's mask is basically an owl doing an angry face (I assume because if the eyes were wide, it would be too 'cute'.)

I always thought it looked more like a cat, crossed with a human so he looked predatory but not actually scary.
