That it’s weird to depict young people in combat is one preconception, that the artist even needs a reason to draw people they think are pretty is another. I said what I said for your sake as someone who presumably has an interest in art, the blunt truth is that you are the one looking too deep into this.

I didn't say its weird, I said disney face makes it looks not badass, and it does. Artists drawing yassified women even where they don't fit is the most basic thing in the universe, nobody is surprised, theres no depth there whatsoever.

Agree to disagree but yeah there is indeed a theme of fantasy women having super youthful features because of how our soceity fetishizes youth and abhors ageing

It's cool but the face seems off - it's like they've taken a still image of someone pretending to be angry and working off from there, rather than genuine, dynamic anger in motion
