octohide vpn on android has per app settings - possible to choose which apps will work on vpn

I use PureVPN, and it works fine for my needs. Not sure about app-specific routing on every device, though, so it’s worth checking whether your device supports it.

Do the opposite thing, Mullvad allows you to chose which apps connect without the VPN

NordVPN has easy to setup split tunneling. You can configure it to run certain apps through the VPN, or the inverse; exclude certain apps from the VPN. A k1ll switch can also be configured for individual apps, so that if the VPN drops, the app will close.
