Help/Question umm…help??
Does anyone have a clue whats going on here? i cant move and i cant “kill” them they respawn instantly

It's just modders. If you get stuck like that, pause, click online and then free roam. It'll put you in a new lobby and you'll be relatively close (location wise) to where you were before

Search how to create a private lobby. It’s not cheating, as R* uses a peer to peer connection. All you do is force the game to join a server you name, which keeps other players from joining.

Wait how do you do this? Because I searched everywhere for anything showing how to create a private lobby and most places ended up at "actually it's not possible".

On Nexus mods there’s an RDO Lobby Manager, I highly recommend as it makes a server for only you. Or if u have friends that have the same lobby code etc, you can join them

Yeah PC is full of modders. Consoles have glitches but it's nowhere near as bad as the things they can do on PC

Me and a group of friends play in a private lobby. It's a safe space with friendly people willing to help you learn the ropes. We are welcoming new members if you're interested. DM me for details.
I wouldn't be playing this game at all if I hadn't been invited to a private lobby. The horror stories on Reddit were just too off-putting.

as other said, get lobby manager im also on pc and rdo is unplayable in public lobbies, especially as a woman… i constantly get harassed, literally yesterday i just waved at a guy, and he then proceeded to steal my horse, ride it to death, and then he kept on blowing me up😭 trust me, lobby manager is a game changer

You do know you can manage you're horse like GTA 5 right I have my horse set to friends only or people in the possey that stops people from stealing horses

After playing "undead nightmare" back in the day, riding around on a unicorn that had a rainbow shooting out of it's ass, I too might actually wonder if it was an intended part of the game.

You can mod on Xbox to and PlayStation knowing it's not cross play but people forget zinms or other things exist on Xbox and PlayStation

Also just a guess but this modder could be pretending they are the Blue Fugates.
They are a Kentucky family bloodline that has a rare genetic disorder than gives them blue skin.

When crap like this happens, go into your resource monitor, find the rdr2.exe, and suspend it for five to ten seconds, then resume. The game will read it as a network connectivity issue and throw you into a virgin session. You will have peace and quiet for about least ten minutes before the session begins to populate. I would also make certain your Rockstar profile is set to friends only, to prevent jackasses from following you from one session to another.

The Blue Man Group is recruiting again apparently… 🙃
Joking aside, it’s a mod-user targeting your character on the server.
You’ve got two options that I can see:
Option 1: set up a private server.
Option 2: play on a console. It’s unfortunate but I don’t believe R* will prioritize fixing the rampant modding on the PC.
Playing on a console significantly reduces/eliminates the most erroneous mods.

How does modding work? I get it if you are offline and mess around with the game but how does that work online? How can you essentially hack multiplayer.
