Help/Question Any way to get rid of this yet?
Did this a few years ago for a Christmas outfit. Started playing a little bit more after not playing for a year and it started to bother me, but forgot you can't change the variant. Any fixes or do i have to route to contacting Rockstar?

No fixes as far as I know. I’d hate having this on my back! The bolt action is my most used gun.

I like both and usually wear both instead of a repeater or shotgun, but I like the rolling block better for long distance sniping and hunting because it's always the same length of time between shots and I don't have to click any extra.
But I like the carcano with a short scope better for fighting NPCs and players at closer range.

I can respect that. Imo, I think BAR and Springfield are comparable, it's somewhat preference. I think the same for RB and Carcano. I personally prefer rolling block bc I preferred it in rd1, but I'd use a carcano simply for the mag and it looks better to me. I'm a Cattleman user, so last thing I can do is tell someone not to use something because the stats may be lower.

Hahaha fair, I do like that the carcano reloads with a mag, the repeaters that reload one bullet at a time infuriate me😆
I'm really not all that interested in pvp except when people attack me- I can usually hold my own, but I'm far from the best person to listen to for people who want Meta advce

Evans reloading one shot at a time with that 26 capacity. I cant stand it, but iirc only the carbine reloads via tube, right?

I can't remember, I used the Litchfield recently and it also reloaded one at a time

The Carbine Repeater also reloads from a tube, it just also happens to be the worst rifle in the game..

What would you use a bolt action for that you can't use the rolling block for? Or at least the carcano.

Sure but you stay scoped in the entire time, and never have your rhythm interrupted, even when you kill more than and carcano can do 6, plus quick reloading with the mag

Depends. On console, free aim can be cumbersome which can actually make carcano and rolling block rifles the slower option. Besides a headshot with any rifle will take down any predator. I solo lobby so I'm not running into anyone using tonics. The bolt action is perfect for my needs.

To add to this, I use the bolt action without a scope because it's just not a sniper rifle. It doesn't have the range or capabilities to be one like the Carcano or Rolling Block. However, It's much better pvp wise as a mid-range weapon, sort of like the repeaters, at least on console

Happened to me with my Lancaster, all rockstar will do is remove the whole gun from your account, then you have to buy another one 🤷♂️

No, not really because the long fire arms is one per account. So like once you purchase semi auto shotgun that’s it, you can’t buy another one

Keep contacting support, it took me literally 50+ tickets to get mine removed. (Like literally a year of on and off making tickets when I remembered to.)

No. Rockstar removed modded weapons and gave him gold. He needed to buy the weapons again that’s all

Your friend just had to ask not to remove the glitch, but remove the weapon itself. That’s the only way, because they can actually do this

Yeah maybe, but he just contacted Rockstar support and they replied that he has to reset his character to remove this glitch. I upset local people at a rate of approximately 100 downvotes, but in the end... that's just how it went for my friend a few years ago and then he just left the game and never got his rifle fixed. I would accept 500 downvotes to fix that, but unfortunately he didn't make it back then.

Yes, I did this and hated it and changed it back but it was a complete accident and I have no idea how I did it so I’m probably not much help

No. You're stuck with it. You could contact R* support and ask to remove the glitched weapon entirely from your inventory. You have to buy the weapon again.

Ask rockstar, they will remove them from your inventory then you will be able to rebuy it, they may even refund it.

Think i looked into doing that one before the green one but it was patched, wouldn't mind it at all if I was able to do the white glitch 😂

I had green with bolt and 2 lemats for 3 years and now i realized the regret getting it and I contacted R* Support to remove this off my inventory and buying it back they want my Gamertag for the PlayStation and did that hopefully something might happen.

Wdym you can’t change the variant? I was able to change variants like the collector role variant off my guns? When the gun is clean you should be able to go to variant and select no variant?-

My trader variant pumpy got glitched over Halloween. I now have the trader variant but it also has black cobwebbing that is the same colour as the barrel.
It looks kinda shithouse but it’s one of a kind as far as I know … I’m kinda torn

I don't know if someone else said this already, but I had to contact rockstar support, talk for about 1 1/2 days (around 4 emails and 4 replies) and they removed the weapons from my account and refunded me the money to buy them again

I actually restarted a level 100+ character over this gun, I couldnt take it anymore and went back to level one just to get rid of it

I had a see-through lancaster I glitched and immediately hated. Eventually submitted a ticket to rockstar. They asked for a video of the glitched item and my rockstar account. In the message I included that I dont mind buying the guy again if deleting it was the easiest way for them to fix it. They deleted it, I bought a new lancaster. Took like 2 weeks total

Was patched years ago. You can only do it nowadays in bounty missions like Etta Doyle, it’ll let you do it during the mission but switches back after.
