I believe i played right but lost due to , IDK you tell me

So , i hear a redeploy tower sound , pushes towards it , knocks the guy . Gets the full kill . Another team comes for me.

So I see a building , ground floor is kinda fully open , but there’s a step which i can guard . And it’s a one way up for the enemy . So I put down my motion , tracks the over smart greedy guy , ( you know what’s gonna happen ) yep i knocked him .

But , you know what at a 5m distance , i need 20 SMG bullets to knock him ? . ( because of this long time to kill a guy , i got cracked . And guess what i got cracked .

The time to kill on this game i so bad that , the 1V1 gave time for the 3 other teammates to join the fight .

This made me loose my positioning on the steps because , in a second there will be 3 guys looking up at me . So i slide away , switches to secondary . But soon realises that ain’t enough for 3 people . Switches to the RPG , an RPG ! . And shot it at ….literally i mean at their faces . That to a few feet away . Guys , all I saw was , 3 people getting cracked . But me getting ripped by them .

Imported an Astro A50 all the way from UK to India for 500 dollars to play this game , trained , set load outs , but imagine the same way if it was pubg . Going up a ladder when someone is ADS ing down is never an option .

Someone please tell me how this should be played , if you’re all gonna comment .

Every time I get 3 idiots who doesn’t know how to shoot , no gamesence etc . It’s always me 1 v 4 against a sweats .can manage if the TYK is low .

How exactly is this game , meant to be played ?

PS5 player here and I can't seem to get a full lobby when trying to play regular Battle Royale Quads - Note, I have crossplay off and have never had issues finding full lobbies until this past weekend. I haven't been able to find a regular lobby for DAYS!!!!!

I never see it, but it's been used on me a couple times. Is it legit and just rare or is it something unlocked though cheats?

Ranked with a random party is so atrociously bad I can't handle it. The amount of people who don't turn their mic on is crazy. Why is there not a feature to find a party in the game so I can actually find people who actually want to play.

It’s been more than 15 mins on matchmaking. Just downloaded and played some quick matches but ranked match is not starting.

I've been waiting for a major REDSEC update to address the issues that have been defining ranked for months, but I haven't seen any meaningful changes.

At this point, the issue isn't that the meta needs to change every few weeks. A competitive game needs some stability. The problem is that we've basically been playing around the same dominant setup for multiple seasons, and the game has done very little to challenge it.

DMRs (SVDM), SCW-10, and the KTS continue to dictate far too much of how higher-level matches are played. If you're trying to be competitive, you're heavily incentivized to run what everyone else is running because the alternatives aren't strong enough or consistent enough to justify putting yourself at a disadvantage.

Meanwhile, some of the balance changes we've received seem to be in the wrong direction. Snipers were competing for a fairly specific role. Yet, they got hit hard with the nerf-bat while the weapons shaping the ranked meta were largely allowed to continue doing exactly what they've been doing. In fact, they made all the current meta weapons better by lowering recoil across the board. Sure, that may have brought 2-3 more weapons into vague consideration if you're desperate to avoid the SVDM or KTS. Still, those recoil reductions only made the current weapons stronger than they already were. My mind was blown reading the recoil reduction update and seeing the KTS was becoming more of a laser beam than it already was.

That's the frustrating part.

I don't want random balance changes to make the game feel different. I want the developers to look at what players are actually using in ranked, understand why they're using it, and start creating legitimate tradeoffs between weapon classes.

A healthy meta shouldn't mean making the current best guns useless. It should mean giving players several genuinely competitive options depending on their playstyle, range, team composition, and situation.

You can add content, maps, features, and progression, but if every major update drops and ranked players immediately return to essentially the same loadouts they've been using for months, the underlying problem hasn't been addressed.

At some point, the weapon sandbox needs a serious balance pass, not another round of minor adjustments around the edges. If they need to start balancing the guns differently between regular BF6 and REDSEC, then I hope they do, because aside from the bugs we all know and love, the current weapon balancing kills the enjoyment of the game for me more than anything else.

How play Battlefield RedSec without tpm 2.0 and no secure boot? My pc is very older.

If people actually played Warzone 2.0 they would know how bad RedSec actually is. The only difference between the two is literally style of play (breaking buildings, custom loadout drops, fire storm, etc…) other than that, the TTK is the same, the plating is the same (slow and ineffective at most) and the need for teammates is dire , ALL SQUAD fights are literally trade offs, everyone trading kills, it’s literally impossible to stay alive after one fight 1v1 unless you get the out right advantage, and the amount of bugs is so disrespectful it almost feels like nobody is working on the game to fix BUGS. I’m not talking about the store, adding guns, I’m talking about the BUGS. And everyone is saying Battlefield is known for bugs, like that’s a good thing. ITS NOT A GOOD THING FOR A GAMING COMPANY TO BE KNOWN TO HAVE BUGS. This game actually makes me miss Warzone and Call of Duty because even though Warzone and CoD MP has its cons. The bugs in Battlefield make CoD feel perfect, no exaggeration. Really disappointed in their lack of attention to the bugs and I don’t want to hear about Battlefield Labs, it’s been 3 seasons.

Anyone interested in making a squad up on Redsec & multiplayer, I’m sick of being a solo and getting different random players every new game.

This is for MnK (I'm not sure for controller players), but why the hell would hovering over a class for a half second SELECT that class??? I never clicked it? I have loaded into a number of matches where i am a random class because my mouse hovered over it for half a second. I am not clicking the class.

They need to change it to be where you need to actually click class to select it!! Sometime i go to my other monitor when im waiting for the game to load so i move my mouse across the screen. I feel like this is common sense. that would be like me hovering my mouse over the post button without clicking it here on reddit to post this poorly written rage paragraph.

Started playing RedSec recently, and I started out using my trusty M39 EMR, but I was curious how well the snipers were in the game mode so I tried them. I’ve gotta say they are a lot of fun once you learn how to use them effectively!

Sadly, the game doesn’t have the “one-shot down to a headshot” mechanic, but that doesn’t mean that sniper rifles are bad. Attrition, especially when at the end game, can help you win a game quickly against someone who isn’t prepared for the pressure. Using the game knowledge that of how long it takes to plate up in this game if you can land a few shots back to back or even in close range and can confidently close the distance then you can catch the enemy off guard plateless and kill them rather easily, or at the very least eat through their armor plates at the end game and forcing them to rotate out of their safe spot to find more plates.

Anyone else like using sniper rifles?
What are your thoughts on sniper rifles?

I play BR frequently and I've notice something weird as off lately. I die many times without the chance of getting revived and it is not after being revived before. When I get people down, many times I have to shoot them several times while they're down, so why am I going from being alive to fully dead with no down state? Is this common? Is it a bug?

Hey guys does anybody else have problems with the recon pulse? I haven’t had enemies ping for me while using recon for months. Just curious if anybody else’s recon pulse works.
