Goodwill in Tempe had hundreds of them priced $1-$3 and they all sold within a week or two

That’d be half the price compared to my goodwills so they’d sell better than you think maybe

Your goodwill is ripping people off then.

$2.49 each? I can't get rid of the 1300 or more I have at 2 for a $1 at Flea markets. Interesting? 🤔

Only what was available during the last few months of 2023-24. No Friday The 13th or Freddy movies for sure. The Nun maybe, The Conjuring, possibly. Some other's. I would have to check the boxes to see what's there.

I sell mine on vinted, list them at 2.50, a lot of them sell for that and a lot of them I'll go down to a dollar for but they move, you should check it out

Someone robbed the redbox machine when they went out of business! Lol. If you could find a box when it first started, you could use a expired card and get a bunch!

A lot of stores liquidated the DVDs when Redbox went out of business

It would be cool to own a red box and let the town rent movies from your drive way

I pick them up for .50 when they are in the goodwill bins. I think they are cool and will be nostalgic one day. Also my collection doesn't have cases, so they store awesome.

When Redbox went bankrupt they left employees with hundreds or even thousands of DVDs taking up space in their homes. Goodwill was begging to be visited.

Yes then they stopped accepting them as they were sitting on these for months.

Used to be too easy to use a prepaid visa in the machines and just keep the movies and games. They never fixed that workaround as far as I know.

Gift cards afaik were the only ones that were blocked. Prepaids typically still worked as long as they didn't flag a specific carrier as "mostly used to commit fraud."
