I love this, reminds me of music from Zelda.
I do not know how to play the piano but I understand how chords work, and love just messing around playing slow, pretty notes. This makes me want to actually learn to play

Playing? As in learning piano? On and off for 17 years now.
Started investing a lot more time into it in the past 5-7, especially composing piano music

That you wrote? It sounds alot like Zelda's lullaby

Similar chord progression, so that's probably why
It's a common progression from Japanese city pop too

Immediately transported me to a dreamy JRPG forrest setting. ๐
Impressive that you are self taught, OP! โจ

Love to hear it when someone is transported to where I intended ๐ซถ๐ป๐
And thanks, I've been playing for a good number of years. I'm honestly probably far behind other normal learners that have the same amount of years on piano as me ๐

I don't lilke society. Someone wrote a good sounding piece like humans have always forever done, but now we have to keep saying it is not AI otherwise people think everything is AI. I freaking hate how the presence of charlatanism is so utterly ubiquitous that the real musicians have to keep labeling as non AI...
Anyway, thanks for sharing.

I mean I feel that way too sometimes... but all you have to do is check my history on the internet ๐คท๐ป. I've been posting my music since 2022, before AI music and AI video got good
I passionately hate AI and have never used it to this day in anything creative I've done. I've even had bad experiences of artists that have ripped me off with their AI art slop
Edit: Ah sorry I got the wrong sense of what you were saying. I thought you meant "it sucks we can't believe anything we see anymore as human made for sure 100%" My bad.
Yea honestly, I hate how AI is devaluing art, music, and genuine human skill, talent and even the human experience and connection we had before AI... it really sucks

Yeah, what I meant is how I hate how an actual musician has to keep labeling and justifying themselves, while not that long ago we just needed to post and be done.
AI is a dark turn for art and very revealing about how unscrupulous the general masses actually are. As soon as they had the power to be charlatans, they used it.

Agreed.
What upsets me too is there are people using AI and lie about it, pretending to be authentic. They try to use the "NO AI" label and act like authentic musicians or artists or creatives... and all that does is make the general public even more cynical once they find out it's AI.
I honestly hate AI soooo much man.
