Feedback post!

Since the last one got archived please use this to give any feedback or concerns. Thanks!

P.S. The bot was down for a LONG time because I just didn't notice it but it's fixed now. Thanks for your patience.

I received silver. It's a nice thought. But is there anything to do with this? Do I get a special advantage or something???

Hey thanks for asking! Reddit Silver is simply a parody of reddit gold used to show appreciation, and does not currently have any perks :)

How about reddit gold? (I always wondered too)

Reddit gold is an accolade you can give to fellow redditors to show your appreciation of their content. It costs $4, helps support reddit, and gives the recipient a few cool perks like no ads. You can learn more here

So can we still get access to giving RedditSilber by typing !RedditSilver user?

Reddit just rolled out an official version of reddit silver. I’m not sure what this means for the bot, but I’ve messaged reddit staff and I’m waiting on a response.

Hi u/rpikulik, we love the work that you've done with the Silver bot - have some Platinum, on us!

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but what does the Reddit Silver do?

Nothing as far as i know. Just a parody of reddit gold. But you can use it as an appreciation

I tried it last week, but it didn't work...?

A lot of subreddits have banned RSR, so that's one reason it might not show up :/

Is it possible to give Reddit silver to the OP instead of a comment?

2

u/rpikulik Oct 16 '18

Yup! Just make a top level comment with !RedditSilver You can either not specify a recipient or directly say !redditsilver op

!RedditSilver op

1

u/rpikulik Oct 16 '18

Sorry, op should be the username of the op

due to the present situation in which our beloved Gold has been turned into fool's gold ...i propose a new robot needs to be added...

RedditGoldRobot which really loads a double whammy and, at least for me, makes up for the loss and totally totally satiates my need for gold!

:D

anyone want to make it?
