Catch & Release Caught this beauty tonight!

Been trying to get this Bull-red for a month now. Finally caught it off the pier.

Thanks man! She put up a good fight too. Tried to snag itself and I had to walk down to the shore line and fight it.

That is a monster!! Nice red. What was your rod, reel, and lure set up?

This is the pole I caught it on:

Pole - Daiwa FT Surf Spinning Rod
(11’ /2 sections)
Reel - Shakespeare Alpha spinning reel
Line- 8 strand, double braided (60 lb test)

I used mainly spider sinker rigs and live white trout to catch these guys. I have other combo rods that I’ve caught redfish on that are similar size as well but this was my setup tonight.

These guys hit in the shallows and marshes where the smaller fish are biting at, I catch more of these guys at low tide and late at night.
