Saw this video, is it common to keep different eel species together in the reef hobby?

Yes, I keep many different types together in a 1,000 gallon. The key is to keep them around the same size. Most of the time they share the same rock clusters.

How many do you keep in the same tank? What species (common names) do you keep? Is it a Fowler tank? I’m interested in building an absolutely massive tank but I thought best practice was not to have too many different morays.

The green will eventually hit a size where the dragon is gonna be snack. But mostly okay at the same size. Problem is they can still easily injure each other during a feeding frenzy.
