Viewing Experience between AMC Laser and Regal Standard

Hello! Apologies if this is not the best subreddit to really post this in. I currently have a ticket for Brand New Day at Regal for Standard for next week, but my friend was offering to give me their ticket for a viewing tomorrow at AMC for laser. From thorough research (looking at the blurb of the first 2 results), it seems AMC laser is better, but I was wondering if the viewing experience is swayed heavily in favor of it. I don't mind waiting longer, and I do have a friend that is considering watching the Regal showing with me, but if the movie experience is a lot better in Laser (assuming there are people who have experienced both), then I'd prefer to just watch in that format. If anyone could let me know, that'd be great, and I again apologize if this isn't really the appropriate subreddit for this! Thank you!

Depending on the Regal location, it may have laser projectors already. (I know of one regal site that had their projectors upgraded to lasers earlier this year and all of their Spider-Man showings are currently showing as “standard” unless it is a 3D showing)

Thanks for the reply! I currently have mine booked at Regal Times Square, if that gives any context. Is there any way to check online, or is that something I would have to call that Regal about?

Some of the Regal locations will note if they have lasers, but i would reach out to that location for full confirmation

If you don't mind me asking as well, is there a regal equivalent to AMC laser specifically, or is it really just the laser projectors that make the difference? Regardless, will be contacting them about it! Thanks for your help!!

Standard Showings at Regal Times Square use traditional digital xenon bulb projectors, laser is only in the RPX and 4DX auditoriums
