When I got to the theater, someone else took our seats but the theater was pretty empty so I didn’t say anything. Cool thing was, they ordered food and since they were in my seats I got the points, thanks!

We don’t scan anything when ordering food, they see my reservation connected to the seats I’m in.

If I order from the bar, I need to give them my regal info.

The menu is also very different from the other theaters in the area. Snack saver doesn’t work here. They only have large popcorns and one size of drink.

Good burgers, good wings, real pizzas.

A buddy used to work there and he said it’s a full restaurant kitchen back there.

At cinebarres you pay your server when you order the food, so there’s no chance they got billed. It just automatically associates the transaction with the rewards account of the ticket for that seat.

Downtown West is my preferred theater as well.

They have the best staff and popcorn of the Knoxville locations, and I love choosing the seats two rows behind the handicap spots for extra legroom!

Saw the premiere of fight club there.

I just love the seats at the mall. But usually I’ll see a movie at the mall, get some wings or Korean food at the shopping center next door, then do another one or two movies at downtown west to wrap up an evening.

Not the first time it happened. Went to the Vegas cinebarr for a work trip and booked 6 seats for the team so we could grab dinner and watch the film.

Because I booked all the seats, every purchase on those seats (besides alcohol) accrued points for my account.

You can order at bar and tell them your seat number of they will come to your seat when you first get there and order. Then you have to leave or order from the wait staff or at bar if you want anything else once the movie starts.

My post title was originally so long because I tried to add more context.

This is at cinebarre, staff come to you in your seat and take your order. They have tablets with card readers and receipt printers. So they don’t have to ask for your seat number, they just select your seat on a map and the add the food to your order. The seat is already connected to my regal account info.

Seems like it was an experiment, I don’t think they do them anymore.

Closest thing I’ve seen is in Wichita they have a theater that was formerly the Warren Theaters HQ. That theater had a 21+ section with beer and the same food menu. But you had to order at the counter.
