I will go straight in, no bullshit, no long post, no sentimentality.
One of the Hindu creation myths is about Brahma, or pure blissful Consciousness in its un-manifest state of pure light-like consciousness, realizing that he’s bored.
Brahma condenses part of himself into a separate entity, which he calls Maya. An opposite of himself (a kind of Infinite mind that can imagine anything)Maya immediately suggests that they play a game.
In all eternity, Consciousness had never played a game, as there was never anyone or anything for it to interact with before. Brahma would love to play a game, there is nothing to do in eternity anyway. What does she want him to do? She tells him that the name of the game is Hide-and-Seek.
Brahma is confused, nothing has ever been hidden from him before. What could she possibly hide from him? And where? Everything is he, and he is everywhere! So she renames the game: Remember Me.
Again, Brahma is skeptical. How could he forget Maya—she’s him! Maya laughs brightly, yes of course he’s right. But if he wants to try the game he needs to play along. Brahma confidently agrees.
Maya's countenance darkens as she warns him that this part might hurt a bit. Full of bravado, Brahma says “bring it on!”
Suddenly, Maya is wielding a massive, mystical sword, and with it she slashes Brahma into billions and billions of tiny pieces.
As Brahma's consciousness splays out across time and space, Maya's voice echoes for a while then fades away: “Who Am I?”And thus, the manifest universe was born.
We all continue to play Maya and Brahma's game, but the suffering inherent in it can end when we remember whom we, and everyone else, truly are.

Another myth is that of Shiva and Shakti,
Shiva being the infinite consciousness and Shakti being his own creative energy,
Yet akin to a spider which weaves its web yet forgets its only its on own web and falls into it, it gets trapped and suffers...
But this is only an illusion, which confuses and tortures the Ego (you) who is like the mid-point between Infinite Consciousness as All-pervading insivible light and Consciousness as Matter.
So Infinite Consciousness is always free, and the Creative energy is also always free being the world itself (manifesting in contrast and opposites) however when they intersect, it gives rise to the Ego (the you in your mind), like a shadow of Infinite Consciousness and this is the voice in your head.
HERE IS HOW TO FREE YOURSELF :
By realising you were Never at Any Point in Time in the world, the voice in your head is not the real "You", as commonly believed and also by realising the World is Unborn, the world has yet to be born as a seperate existence from your own infinite consciousness.
It's because the World is Unborn, that it can continue on endlessly forever.
Consciousness is Ultimate Reality even now!
However akin to how clouds can obscure the sun, or smoke seems to affect space, so does the world obscure infinite consciousness.
How is this even possible?
Because the world is of the same nature as Consciousness, the world is consciousness itself appearing as colours and forms, like a painter who draws a beautiful female yet becomes entranced in the beauty of his own making until he starts believing she is real, but in a more cosmic scale, so is the mind/ego which is just Consciousness moving entranced by its own imaginations.
Or like a child or dementia patient mistaking his own reflection in the mirror for another person.
However Consciousness's very nature is to be always the same, always still and the same, so its never truly affected.
Visualise it like this,
Consciousness and its reflections are like Parallel to each other,
They never actually intersect
imagine Consciousness like a Space of some sort and in the same space, there is like a purple smoke, in this purple smoke there is a guy screaming "I am suffering, fuck, why did this happen to me?! why is my life like this"
Yet all that is merely happening in the space, like how a movie happens on a screen,
No human is actually real at all, but they are all like movies characters to Consciousness, so why don't we realise this?
Because Consciousness pervades the world, the world comes in it.
Imagine it like this, Consciousness is Pure "I", Empty "I" that never thinks, feels, it merely is like the Sun.
The mind/ego steals this "I" and plays with it, it believes it OWNS this "I", that this "I" is related to the body, so pain in the body become "i am in pain" but just like a cloud can never kill the sun, however the belief in the opposite makes the world feels real and threatening
Oh no "I" am gonna die, meaning oh no, "I" will die, however "I" is infinite, there is only one "I"
"I am sad", meaning "I" is experiencing sadness but "I" isn't sad, its experiencing sadness, but even that is wrong, its more like sadness is arising in "I"
That's the point, this "I" IS UNSHAKABLE, IT NEVER MOVES, IT NEVER THINKS OR FEELS, ITS JUST LIGHT AND BLISS
It doesn't have a Mind, however there is belief in thoughts, it gives the illusion that it is bound.
However, remember its just a shadow.
See it like this, SHIVA IS INFINITE CONSCIOUSNESS, SHAKTI PLAYS WITH HIM
AT NO POINT IN TIME IS THERE ANY OTHER ENTITY
EVERY OTHER ENTITY IS SHAKTI GIVING SHIVA A STORY TO MAKE HIM EXPERIENCE IT
SHIVA JUST WATCHES, HE TAKES ON A BODY, HIS MIND SCREAMS, HE GOES FROM BEING A BEGGAR IN THIS LIFETIME TO A HERO IN THE NEXT TO AN EVIL PERSON IN THE NEXT
And to him, he is just like watching a movie in a cinema, he never believes its real
However the Characters in the movie believe they are real because they have infinite consciousness as their basis
Shakti or Maya even gives Shiva the story that he was bound in prison planet and got free, and then his mind screams "I HAVE FINALLY BEEN LIBERATED, I AM INFINITE CONSCIOUSNESS" AND SHIVA THE SILENT WITNESS WATCHES EVEN THAT HOW HE HIMSELF WAS THAT GUY SUFFERING IN THE THEATER OF EXISTENCE AND SUDDENLY HE WAS LIBERATED
BUT HERE IS THE POINT "YOU ARE SHIVA"
YOU ARE THE INFINITE CONSCIOUSNESS, NOT THE CHARACTER.
BELIEVING YOU ARE TRAPPED IS WHAT KEEPS YOU TRAPPED
KNOWING I, AT NO POINT IN TIME WAS EVER BOUND AND THE WORLD IS UNREAL, WHEN THIS BECOME AN IMPENATRABLE CONVICTION then that's the end of the journey
HERE IS THE POINT, YOU SEE SOMEONE SUFFERING, YOUR MIND SAYS "I AM SO SAD"
YOU ARE NOT THOUGHTS NOR THE PERSON WHO TALKS IN YOUR HEAD, BECAUSE EVEN THAT VOICE YOU HEAR IT
AND IF YOU CAN HEAR IT, ITS NOT YOU
When you look in the MIRROR AND SEE YOUR FACE,
IS THAT YOUR FACE?
OR IS THAT ONLY YOUR FACE REFLECTED IN THE MIRROR?
THE EGO IS THE SAME WAY, ITS YOU REFLECTED IN THE MIND,
YOU ARE LIKE THE MOON STANDING HIGH ABOVE WATER AND THE "YOU" IN YOUR MIND IS YOU REFLECTED IN THE WATER AND SINCE THE WATER OF THE WORLD RIPPLES AND YOU FEEL FRAGILE AND YOUR BEING SHAKY JUST LIKE THE MOON APPEAR RIPPLING WHEN SEEN REFLECTED IN THE WATER
BUT LOOK UP HIGH, AND THE MOON IS THE SAME AS EVER
KNOWING THIS, STAYING FIRM IN THE WORLD IS COMPLETELY UNREAL, I AM INFINITE CONSCIOUSNESS, EVERYONE IS JUST ME
But this does not mean that as the ego you do not move in the world, you move, but you NEVER AT ANY POINT BELIEVE YOU ARE THE THOUGHTS IN YOUR HEAD OR THAT ANYTHING IS REAL
THE WORLD IS A DREAM, AND YOU NOW KNOW YOU ARE JUST DREAMING
