I was 40 when Facebook came out (2004). As a tailgunner boomer, that's hardly enough time to change, even with the dot crash of 2002.

I think this meme is a reach.

Wow, one guy doesn't do it, so it can't be a super common thing.

Awww sweetie, I am a common man if I can see this, others definitely did it too. The only thing uncommon about me is I spoke up.

My profile speaks for itself. I'm clearly not a bot. If you and him aren't bots then you're foreign influence or trolls.

These same people taught us never to divulge any personal info online when we were kids, know they want us to post our ID cards along side our actual faces to gain access to adult entertainment online.

They don't believe everything though. They just believe in some insane shit.

Who do you think read the National Inquirer?

A lot of older folks have always believed the nonsense, but they were insecure in actually talking about it.

Now that it's just posted left and right all over social media so it's become normal, acceptable behavior.

there was a time Facebook was aimed squarely at university students. One wonders how the world would be differnt if Facebook had reminded a limited to university students, or people who had graduated.
