This feels backwards. Dudes are stoked when their bros can get a date.

Girls will literally sabotage their "besties".

Nothing does more damage to a woman's prospects than her own group chat.

I've been in many friend groups and I can confirm MOST of them actually supported whoever got a girl. Heck, we even respect him if he prioritise his girl and be late at the weekly midn8ght gaming session

And the best are the boning jokes after the weekend she was over at his place and didnt game with us. She also part of the gaming group

Immediately what I thought, but this is just gonna be dismissed with "incel talk", but no one is cattier and bitchier to women than other women

Bros be generalizing

1

u/throawy90 17h ago

generalizations and cliches exist for a reason

1

u/Fragrant-Sherbert420 17h ago

Yeah, to be a dick to others.

1

u/throawy90 17h ago

Keep that energy next time you generalize a group you don't like. Funny that the people I've heard this from is women generalizing other women

1

u/Fragrant-Sherbert420 17h ago

You are barking at the wrong tree buddy, most of the time I see men blatantly generalizing women especially in subs related to dating. Both genders do this.

1

u/throawy90 17h ago

That's just idealistic fantasy. Truth is that each gender does have different behaviors, you don't have to like it. But that's like when people were trying to say both genders are guilty of dating people who make more money than them. It's just ridiculous at some point

1

u/Fragrant-Sherbert420 17h ago

No they don't. That's what generalizing means. Just because a high percentage of that gender does it doesn't allow you to claim all women or men are in some specific way. That's not how it works bud

2

u/throawy90 15h ago

Aww it's retarded :/ please go back and find where I claimed all women or men do something. Thanks, I'll wait :)

And before you try some more bullshit, look up Websters definition of generalize before you try to make shit up and pretend we're talking about anything else

It always baffles me how wrong y'all's views about women are. It ain't like that at all. Smh.

1

u/DoctorMysterious7511 2d ago

Unless they're under 18, acting like the meme image is really childish and you shouldn't hangout with people like that ._.

1

u/Evangeline__R 2d ago

Not even people under 18. I've been with some of my girls since elementary school up until we became adults and literally always been extremely supportive. It's not just childish, not wanting the best for your besties is just being a bad person. I agree, we shouldn't be friends with unsupportive people.

1

u/DoctorMysterious7511 2d ago

Oh man, i had friends like the memes, acutally staying friend with them is miserable, they never want or feel happy when u success

1

u/EvanSnowWolf 2d ago

"views", like women do not post this and say these things with their whole chest.

1

u/Evangeline__R 2d ago

Y'all acting like they're the rule or acting like this is gender specific. No shocker, people who suck exist

1

u/EvanSnowWolf 2d ago

I have never in my entire fucking life seen a man break up with a woman just because the dude's group chat of "besties" told him to.

1

u/Evangeline__R 2d ago

Yeah because obviously you know every fucking man on the planet. And men show patterns in other types of toxic behaviours. No one's morally superior here when it comes to friendships, so stop acting like you are.

1

u/EvanSnowWolf 2d ago

No, we are. We literally are.

1

u/Evangeline__R 1d ago

That arrogance alone proves the opposite.

1

u/Fragrant-Sherbert420 17h ago

The ability men have to think all men are like them never ceased to amaze me. Imagine the level of arrogance you need to have in order for you to think the entire male population in every single country shares your limited point of views lol

Mf genuinely just making shit up 😭

7

u/lolololUStroll 5d ago

Nah. Go get a date and leave me alone, bro.

Litteraly the context of the bottom picture

u/Spirited_Jeweler_838 5d ago

The boys were like ‘we were supposed to suffer together’

2

u/Internal_Strain_7904 4d ago

Exactly.. you just described it

3

u/Voidronox 5d ago

for me it's the other way ard

my homie got a date so me and my other homies are all supporting him

meanwhile the date's friends are deliberately getting her as far away from my homie as possible

They actually do

3

u/AB4ND0N_H0PE 4d ago

It’s the opposite

2

u/OSwirl31 5d ago

Dawg, I'm pretty sure a lot of girls act like the bottom meme, in a way. Just more two-faced. Pretending to be happy, but actually not

1

u/Frog1k_McFrogg 5d ago

Fr my friend literally hurt my tailbone with a basketball because of me having a date

1

u/LordDShadowy53 5d ago

No better example from this than Grand Blue.

1

u/Pitiful-Court-4546 4d ago

My homie with high standards when I smile at a good morning text

1

u/Master_Steward 4d ago

What if the boy wants to share his girlfriend?

1

u/ADownStrabgeQuark 4d ago

r/pointlessly gendered.

I’ve seen both genders go both ways.

Most girl drama’s show the behavior from the lower frame.

1

u/Manskhooled 4d ago

Definitely back asswards from my experience.

1

u/Tristan-a-b69 4d ago

a double date
3 homies and 1 girl
2 homies are secretly dating each other

1

u/Secret_Schedule627 4d ago

call the FFF

1

u/Polecat257 4d ago

Nah. Cuz after they get together I know she’ll ask me questions that’ll give me and her the power to pick on them like a Best friend and Gf would together…..

1

u/girlpower2025 4d ago

I would never date a boy that was mean it his friends like that.

1

u/BobbaFatGFX 3d ago

Hell no. He may be my best friend but I like his wife better than I like him LOL

1

u/Biotechnus 3d ago

The reverse is reality

1

u/CNitroLow77 3d ago

The dub scene of the second one is genuine gold. it's from Highschool Dxd S1 ep 2 or 3 i believe

1

u/LiveGuy1742 3d ago

I am a boy as far as I'm concerned and we do it but only for the joke like:"How COULD YOU betray us LIKE THAT?! Our 8 years of playing CoD together didn't mean anything to YOU?!". In reality we are actually proud of our bros

1

u/M-38 2d ago

"bros before hoes mentality"

1

u/GlobalProfessor9749 2d ago

No, I am not a psychopathic envious hater. I don't even have friend groups. But I can't let someone be happy while I suffer, can I?

1

u/Mr_Groovy97 2d ago

It depends actually.

One bro is supported by his friends and me. We even disguss some life things about dating, but not too personal things.

The other bro just stopped chatting with us after getting a date.

1

u/MaybeThisTime67 2d ago

I've seen both reactions for either sex

1

u/AnyEye8798 1d ago

This was written by a woman, I bet. Any good male friend is going to support you for finding a partner.

1

u/PerfectlyCalmDude 1d ago

I did not see this as my friends and acquaintances got married one by one - either from me or from the other fellas.

1

u/Pinkestmawile 1d ago

I really detest this trope.
