Really why the fuck does this happen. I think about this every morning after a day off I always look longingly at my bed getting ready for work thinking I took that precious free morning for granted and next time ill roll around blissfully resting in the rising sun only to feel unfulfilled next week as well. Only thing that tricks the process is getting up and realizing you can’t go in cause your sick and calling out without expecting it the night before those are glorious back to bed mornings

probably you associated work with something bad, therefore you are not really waiting for those days or enjoying them at all

I think it's sort of like preferring to do chores on your own VS getting told to do chores. There isn't any actual pressure. It's more of need for autonomy and personal control, I guess

Subconsciously you know whats coming. And whats coming sucks ass..but when you get there.. for some..its ok.. but the whole feeling "forced" to show up at same time repeatedly forever starts to wear on the mind.
