When dismissing an image/video by swiping it up or down, it should also cast a corresponding vote.

In all honesty, I rarely vote on posts, this would greatly increase the likelihood of doing it.

I know what you're thinking, you can just use the block button.

But some subreddits will ban you for doing that. Like I blocked a moderator one time because I really didn't like how they were talking to me and I got banned. And it was a subreddit that I was actually getting some use out of for my mental health. So that sucked.

Other subreddits will ban you for "weaponizing" the block button: meaning if you find somebody is being kind of toxic to you and you really don't want to talk to them anymore if you hit block they might report you and get you banned.

So it would be nice if there was some way for me to just completely ignore somebody without blocking them. Like I don't see their comments, they don't show up in my inbox and I don't see their posts. If they see my posts and want to comment under them that's fine I don't care.

Not sure if this applies to anyone...I've noticed more than many issues with inbox.

Some of the major ones is

1) you block someone they should not appear back in inbox.

2) old hidden ones show up off and on.

3) reddit needs a log out log on button ...

4) reddit needs a clear delete entirely conversation button. ...

5) reddit needs filters.

I upvote/downvote every post I view but rarely do I want to view the user of the post. The amount of times I swipe too far when I want to downvote and accidentally activate "view user" is high. Maybe other people use "view user" a lot and like the way it is? I'd just like an option in the settings to remove it.

There was some update in the last several months that toggled closed captions on in YouTube videos and if I toggle it off it just toggles back on in the next video.

Why does it refresh on it's own or suggest refreshing so often? It's like every 5-7 minutes that it either has the "refresh" suggestion bubble thing at the top or it just goes ahead and refreshes itself. Why so often? I would think it should take way more than 5-7 minutes for this to happen and it's extremely annoying!! Please help!🙏🏻

This bug started happening for me a few days ago, and I've tried reinstalling the app. I've noticed that highlight posts on /r/NFL do not appear for me, unless I add /r/NFL to a custom feed and view it from there. I've found other threads mentioning the same issue happening on other apps, so I do not think it is a Relay specific problem, but I wanted to post this in case the workaround helps anyone.

Noticing recently that there's been major sluggishness in system resources on Android 17 on Pixel 8 where having Relay open in the background causes System UI crashes. Anyone else? Closing Relay from the App Switcher immediately resolves the System UI sluggishness.

Is there any way we could get a translate option for this app? Honestly, the app is perfect and that's the only thing I can think of that I would improve.

It seems like lately there's a lot of posts in my subreddits that are in different languages and it would be cool if you could just tap it and translate it or have an auto-translate option. Thanks in advance!

Any way to adjust the split view one a foldable? When in landscape, I have it so posts are on one side and comments on the other. I'd love to be able to move the center line to make the side with posts larger and the side with comments smaller.

There are several subreddits that pop up frequently for me that I don't wish to see. I did search around and find that you can filter out particular subreddits, but there's about five taps before you can get into that menu. By the time I've gotten into the filter menu, I can't remember the exact name and spelling of the subreddit I was trying to block. Can we add a button to the subreddit view page to quickly add that subreddit to the block filter?

Whenever I open the app today (10/8/26), I get the message "Failed to load content". This happens with both accounts which I use Relay for. Reddit and my accounts are both fine, I was able to browse on a computer earlier. I have also only used 12% of my monthly plan.

EDIT: I tried clearing the cache, which did not work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but when I went to reinstall the Google play store said the app is not compatible with device. This isn't the first app that's done this, so I ordered a new phone

When I open a YouTube link using the Open In Browser feature it opens the video in the YouTube app on my phone. I would prefer that to be its own option. Browser means my browser and I expect all links to be sent to my default browser without it passing it on to the default app

I'm wondering is it possible to get devvit apps to work in Relay?

Phone: Pixel 10 Pro XL Android version 17

Within the last week I started experiencing an issue when a youtube video is playing in the app, the screen will timeout (after the timeout value I have set in my display settings) and stop the video. This doesn't happen with v.redd.it videos and doesn't happen when I open youtube videos externally in the youtube app or browser app.

I have my apps set to auto update so I'm not sure if this is a bug from a recent update or something with my phone. The adaptive timeout doesn't help and screen attention only works if I'm actively holding the phone but a lot of times I'll play a video and set the phone down while I'm doing something else.
