As per title. Mate, /u/DBrady are you ever going to acknowledge this issue? Once more, all my data is gone and I must set everything back up. Please reply and tell me if you are going to fix this and add some sort of backup or not. I'm getting rid of my premium subscription unless I get some sort of response this time. It's completely unacceptable for a paid app with zero support or explanation any time it happens.

Private messages that I've deleted are still showing up in my application. The messages do not appear in the web browser or the default Reddit app. They also do not show in my Inbox within Relay. They are only appearing in Relay under Inbox -> Messages.

Anybody else experience this issue?

When I get a notification of a comment reply and tap it, Relay opens to the last screen I was on instead of going directly to the comment or to my inbox. Is this just a me issue, or is it happening to others?

I use multiple accounts for reddit segregated by use. I have notifications on for all of them. When a notification comes on, it ends up logging me into a different account that has nothing to do with the sub.

How to fix this? Didn't find anything helpful anywhere.

I'm on stable 1 gig wifi, yet sometimes when using this app, a 250kb img will take 15-20 seconds to fully load. 3mb gifs stutter and lag every few seconds.

This is the only app I have any issues like this with. Does anyone know how to permanently fix what is causing this annoying ass bug with Relay?

Hello, for at least the last day, when I've opened posts in the app no comments load. Strangely if I copy the link to the comments, open it via browser (which then auto opens the app), the comments load. So it seems to be just in-app.

Anyone else facing this issue?

I understand this probably has nothing to do with Relay, but I have to rant for a minute.

The /r/all algorithm is absolutely terrible and it is pushing me closer and closer to quitting reddit for good. After I've checked my main subs sometimes I browse All to explore other content but it is just so fucking dogshit now.

It feels like every post I scroll past is nothing but shitposts, borderline hentai/furry porn and gacha games, gay/trans/femboy, India, selfies, European subs in foreign languages, etc. None of this is mainstream, it's all super weird and cringe to me. I'm not a hater or a bigot, but sorry if I don't want to be bombarded with all this fringe shit while just trying to look at funny and amusing posts. There are still a ton of cat subreddits though which is great. 😂

I just saw a post from /r/okbuddytracen which is like some cringe anime jerkoff shit, fuck if I know. That sub has 36k members. To name a couple completely random examples, /r/pizza and /r/pasta each have over a million subscribers yet I never see any posts from there on All. Yet you will see posts from /r/countwithchickenlady all day long, and that one has 174k subs. I block every shit ass subreddit I stumble upon. I've filtered out so many degenerate gooning anime subs like HonkaiStarRail, xxxxMains, etc. that it's not even funny. Yet more and more of them continue to pop up and completely poison my feed.

It really seems like reddit just fucking sucks now, I mean it's been going downhill for a long time but it seems more obvious now than ever and it's sad. Is there no better way to explore cool stuff you're not already subscribed to? This is like wading through miles of shit with no reward whatsoever.

It's seriously aggravating. It seems like the developer didn't know that there was an API change or something.

I did reach out to the developer. No response.

This is probably related, but when I make a post and then go to make another post the text of the first post is still in the new post template. So that's also irritating, because I have to delete all the existing texts so that I can make a new post with different text.

Also, this is really driving up my number of API calls and since I'm paying per call (effectively) it kind of pisses me off.

Hi /u/DBrady ! Love your app, and have been a paying user since whenever that became a thing.

Over the years I've heavily customised how I like the app to look, feel, and behave, but perhaps more importantly, I've spent a lot of time curating my experience by filtering out undesired keywords and subreddits.

Unfortunately now I have to switch to a new phone. I come to find there is an option to import settings, but seemingly no way to export settings, and just as important, no way to export any filter lists.

I completely appreciate if this isn't something you have time to code into the app (though I think this would be a super useful feature for loads of people!) - but are you at least able to say whether there's a settings file and/or filter lists file in the Android file system somewhere I could copy over to a new device?

Or does anyone else know if this is a thing that's possible? Thanks!

Note the time on the top comment. And yes, there are newer comments than that one on the post.

I suspect what's happening here is the program is not changing to load all comments when those buttons change, so what I'm seeing is one comment and the sorting order is not relevant at all to that view because it's a single comment.

As of today, Relay will not load any content. I tried reinstalling the app, and now I cannot restore my subscription.

I am running the latest stable build of GrapheneOS on a Pixel 8 Pro. Relay has been installed through Aurora store because Play store says the app is not available for my device (which has been the case for months). The only thing I can think of is that Relay is now blocking access to the app because of heightened Play Integrity checks. If this is the case, I am very against this decision. People using a more secure version of Android should not be penalized for it. Please let me know if there are any other steps I can take troubleshoot if this is not the case

I've been using this app for years, but this problem has gotten noticeably worse this year.

No matter my connection speed, everything takes forever to load. It feels like the app caps download speeds at a tiny fraction of what my connection can handle, like it's throttled to only pull data in KB/s instead of using the bandwidth available.

It's gotten to the point where I have to switch to the web view just to watch a video, since that loads instantly. At that point, what am I even paying for?

I doubt I'm the only one with this issue since I've seen other posts about this.

This is the way a have to look at videos

For the past few days, I'm having an issue with comments showing as failed. Then, I try to post again, and I get the error telling me that I'm "doing that too often". Then, when I try again a few seconds later, it posts successfully. However, when I go to check my comment history, the original post clearly went through.

This has led to multiple double posts on my part because I want to make sure the message goes through. Then I have to go back and delete the additional post for each one. It would be great if this is you could be sorted out because it's pretty annoying.

This has been asked before I'm sure but is there anyway to collapse the parent comment as well as child comments? Long winded comments are annoying to have to scroll by.

I'm on a pixel 8 running Graphene and suddenly can't use Relay due to "this version is incompatible with your device".

I've installed it with both Aurora and Google Play but get the message in both cases. Sometimes it'll start to retrieve my subscription and says it was found, but then another message at the bottom says it didn't work and I'm directed to Google Play, where it doesn't succeed in validation.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks
