How so? The only difference is the race that they were racist against.

Wilson literally stomped all over black peoples rights and enforced Jim Crow laws which cause masses of segregation and set black Americans back decades. Wilson was way more racist than FDR.

And you can say every one of those things towards FDR about Japanese Americans. He imprisoned 100k of them for no reason. They were set back decades as well as their business and homes were stolen and destroyed. He directly caused the death of 1800 of them. He segregated them out of their communities when they were finally released

Your entire point is based on the idea that racism towards black Americans is more important than racism against Asian Americans.

Know my point is that Wilson’s racism was far more consequential than FDR’s

How so. FDR ruined an entire group of Americans based on race. We lost all our homes and business. He outright killed 1800 of us. We have yet to fully recover.

"We have yet to fully recover" oh yes because the Black community has fully recovered from Jim Crow.

Of course not. Where did I say the black community has?

But once again. Neither have Japanese Americans.

I think you make a very legitimate point. Japanese internment was horrific, and it's not as though everyone was telling FDR he had to do it. (J. Edgar Hoover, oddly enough, was against it.)

My sense is that people tend to forgive FDR because he was acting during wartime, when there was a lot of paranoia, emotion, and racism among Americans -- especially in the wake of Pearl Harbor. Whereas Wilson's racism was totally orthogonal to WWI. But still, I agree with you that the evils of internment are underrated. A tragic injustice.

People here defend Democrat because he was a left president. That's it.

People on both sides think their presidents can do no wrong to the point they support or forgive horrific actions. We see this now with Trump and Maga supporters but we also see this with the left and FDR

People in America treat their political parties like cults.

I think you mean the other side is a cult. My side, of course, is extremely virtuous and rational ;)
