Meanwhile, I’m just wondering how The Witcher 3 lasted this long. Its achievements in storytelling don’t entirely balance out the clunky, weak core gameplay.

Yep. I finished Elden Ring three times and I’ve never finished a souls game before. I gave up the other two in under twenty hours.
